We am very happy with our 9 Ft Blue Star Off the Wall Brella. We had hoped to put it on our deck, against the house, but knew that it would be too tall, so decided to put it against the deck railing instead and has worked out fine. We already had the 7 1/2 ft Off the Wall Brella at the end of the deck – over our table. Happy with both. Just 1 word of warning – if you are the type that HAS to have matching colors and you plan on buying more than 1 “Brella”– just be aware that the color of the Sunbrella fabric and the Olefin fabric are very different. I am attaching a couple of pictures to show the difference. The Sunbrella fabric in Antique Beige (one over the small table) is much lighter than the Olefin fabric in Antique Beige (the one at the center of the deck). Sunbrella is very light beige while the Olefin is a deeper beige. Not a big deal for us but might be to someone else – so I did want to mention it. Just bought both of them within the past couple of months so we have not had them long enough to know if one fabric is better than the other. I do love the idea of the 1/2 umbrella. Our deck is very small so would never had been able to do a full umbrella. They certainly seem to work blocking UV rays - and with my skin, I cannot afford to sit outside at all unless I am protected. So thanks to the "Brellas" I have been able to do that during this extremely hot summer in the Northeast. Good price from Home Depot and extremely fast delivery.

I have a little deck outside my master bedroom that overlooks my herb garden and backyard and wanted an umbrella that would fit against the terrace, while covering the chairs on the deck. I had originally ordered the smaller 7.5ft half umbrella, but found that it didn't cover enough of the deck so I returned it for the 9ft and don't regret my decision. It's well made, sturdy, and covers just enough of the deck so I can sit outside with the dogs without getting roasted. The crank is super easy to use and I love that it has ties so it's not flopping around when unopened. Highly recommend this if you only have a small space or just need a little shade!

This umbrella did what I wanted. It came looking great, the fabric and pole all look super. I attached it to a fence, so did not need to get a stand. No complaints. It does the job and looks great. I purchased 3 of them in Black Sunbrella fabric.

I never knew there was such a compact little one and a half 9 foot umbrella but this one is a homerun, the quality, the color, and everything is very good quality and assembly. Even the winding mechanism has a nice little clicking sound when erected.

Able to setup easily. Have used this for our grill area, additional shade against our existing gazebo, and for our pets who lay in the play sand. Be good if you can provide a cover when not in use for the winter. Otherwise, plan to dismantle and place in storage until next summer.
