I waited too I use this product 3 different times to review. 1st as a conditioner. After floor mopped used it didn't dry very well. Dull... Next time I stripped my floor, applied with new sponge (I'm ex Navy, I know how to wax a floor) after that it looked great!... for about an hour while it was drying and leaving a nasty residue. It just does not hold up to the description. Most of the 5 star reviews are probably from people right after they apply the product because the floor looks great for a while, but then they realise it's the same old dull floor later.

This is after the second use (see picture). My floors are brand new! You can see the cloudy film, mop marks, and foot prints. How do I fix this?

Great product. I wish I’d known about it sooner. I tried this after using Rejuvinate All Floot Refresher. The Rejuvinate looked great for about a week then I realized that it was pealing and the stuff showed every scratch. It took many hours to remove it. When I finally got my beautiful floor back chose the Bona. It looks great and there is no buildup.

My wife and I purchased our home built in1939. All upper floors are hardwood oak. Before moving in I purchased and used Bona products for the floors. I used the Bona Hardwood Floor Cleaner to clean, not only the floor but the pores and cracks, using the micro pad provided by Bona. It did an excellent job but did not leave a outstanding shine so after drying I used the Bona Hardwood Floor Polish and the results were outstanding! What I have described is a two step process I have been doing and if you have a lot of wood floors it is quite laborious and takes a lot of time. Bona's "new product" is Bona Hardwood Floor Cleaner "Clean and Refresh". If you have treated your wood floors to the Bona Cleaner and Polish this "New Clean and Refresh" brings back the luster while cleaning your wood floor. The results are very good and you save time by not have to do the two step, clean and polish, until you are ready to again when you want to regain that deep, beautiful shine that traffic and wear has worn down. Tips: Use a clean Bona applicator, spread the "Clean and Refresh" in a "S" pattern working the product across the grain then with the grain to blend in with your wood floor, let dry for 2 hours to arrive at a harden finish and do not drag furniture across your new finished floor, pads assist movement. I "refresh" every 3 months.

Have used Bona's hardwood floor cleaner in the past but this version says it both cleans and shines. One of my pictures show a floor, half cleaned with this product and half not touched. I don't see a difference. We will stick with the old "clean only" product. Instructions are pretty clear but could add "start at the far end and toward an exit area". Instructions say to close the cap after each use. We took that to mean that you open cap, spray, close cap, wipe floor, open cap spray,....... A pain in the rear. The three holed cap does give you control of the spray.

If you have hard wood flooring this is a must. I did not have the microfiber mop so I purchased one. This product reminds me of the mop and glow my mom used to use on our tile flooring. I followed the instructions and swept everything well and put the product on in an S like it states on the bottle then moped it up. This left the floor nice and clean with a polish, nice smell and no sticky feel after use. I look forward to using this from now on.

I really like this product for my hardwood floors. It is in a easy to dispense squeeze/squirt bottle that is easy to hold and handle. The top pulls out for ease of use.This Bona cleaning liquid dries quickly and gives hardwood floors a beautiful shine. I like that it does not build up so no need to strip of many uses. it says it is safe for all unwaxed, polyurethane finished wood floors.

Another easy Bona product! Just squirt in the formation of an S and then use it with your regular rectangle hardwood floor mop. Wait 20 minutes for it to dry to the touch...and poof, done! Clean floor! This is not to be used in spray-mops! Only use it with head-mops or rectangle floor-mops. I like it. It lifts the dust, gives it a shine and revitalizes some of the dry spots where the sun has bleached some of the wood. I use it in our bedrooms. The wood is original in there takes a beating after all these years This product gives it a little life.

Cleaned, but didn't really shine... We tried this Bona cleaner with a Bona handle and microfiber cleaning head. On a sample section in our hallway, it seemed to pick up a lot of dirt, and our granddaughter was able to pick out the section that had been cleaned right away. I however, had a harder time. Judging from the dirt we picked up just on a small section of floor, we really need to go to town and clean the entire floor with this stuff! My granddaughter also noted that the cleaned sections seemed very polished – a definite plus! The instructions for the cleaner said to use the Bona microfiber cleaning pad for best results. One down side – it also said to wait twenty minutes before walking on the cleaned surface. This means you have to plan your cleaning route a little bit, and make sure you don’t paint yourself into a corner so that you have to walk across the area you just cleaned, because it’s sticky. It claims to clean and shine in one step. It seems like the key is to use enough of it and also make sure that it is spread evenly. Then, if you let it dry well, it seems to make the floor shine reasonably well. In general, we found it a bit less convenient to use than other disposable wipe systems, and the wait time needs to be considered. However, the pads are washable and reusable, so there is less waste than with a purely disposable wipe. Overall, this cleaner seemed to work OK, although perhaps not as convenient as other hardwood cleaners we have used. We will continue to try this, and do a larger area/room to see if we get better results. It has a VERY strong, pungent smell, and reminds me of a familiar solvent, but I'm not sure which one. Either way, you DEFINITELY want to have plenty of air flow when using this product or quite possibly use a respirator. I typically don't mind heavy smells, but this was on the heavy side for me. I'm not sure whether it added any gloss to the floor, but it definitely cleans VERY well. It seems like there is some type of protective coating that is left behind, as this product keeps our floors MUCH cleaner than other ones I have used, even the specific cleaner for stone, tile, and laminate. The floor shows a lot less tracks and feels nice too, but I can't put it in words; it's like when it was first put in and 100% clean. It is advertised as a hardwood floor cleaner only, yet I cleaned our laminate and linoleum floors with no problems. Now, perhaps in the long run it will eat apart these materials, but if you accidentally bought the wrong cleaner once, it won't do you any harm, so don't worry; go ahead and use it (at your own risk, of course). As far as the price goes on this, it's worth it, but could be a few bucks cheaper. It's good stuff however, no doubt about that.

If your looking for just a floor cleaner then this product will clean the floor . Refreshing the floor , not so much . As soon as the floor dried it went back to looking normal again . But then i was expecting a shine or some type of wax in the product but it really does not have that . You need to use a microfiber pad to apply it to your floor or a cloth if your doing it on your hands and knees. Bona is the name of the product and i guess i used to much as it took the full quart just to do a 8x10 area of my foyer .

I have been using other bona products but this one awful. It left the floors dull and cloudy. Hopefully my floors shine will come back. It also leave foot prints even when dry. Will not recommend this product

seems like this is no longer available . Bummer as it gave my engineered wood a new lease in life . Can you suggest a replacement

Smeared my floor - not good for wood floor

After 6 years of just cleaning my hardwood floors with Bona Hardwood floor cleaner, they were looking dull, so decided to use the Bona Hardwood Floor Revitalizer. What a mistake! I followed directions and the floors barely looked any different. Then, the next time I cleaned the floors, I used the original Bona Hardwood floor cleaner and now my floors are a cloudy mess! Neither container of the two products says they cannot be used together. So, here I am not sure what to do with these cloudy floors! Any suggestions?

I was hopeful this would help some scratches etc., but my floor looks worse than ever. It is clouldy and streaky and looks simply horrible. I am hoping it is not ruined. Don't even try this
