Despite new good potting soil, reasonable watering with drainage, moderate to partially-shaded sun, the plans just withered and shrank and look like boiled greens. Last year in the same pot with the same methods, the basil thrived and kept us supplied through November. I will try again as we depend out our caprese salads.
