Good overall refrigerator/freezer for the price point. Interior plastic components seem flimsy and the location of the ice maker robs some serious room from the top portion of the refrigerator. Lastly, the feet levelers do not permit adjustment, front-to-back. Fitment can result in a "wobbly" installation.

We had such a terrible experience with our LG fridge which died after 4 years so we're grateful this one has a dual compressor. Really thinking we'll enjoy this one for many years. Thanks Bosch!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although we do like the size and style of this new product. There are some very large problems. First, there is just my wife and I, and the ice maker seems to have trouble keeping up in ice production. Several times we have run out of ice. Secondly, where the ice dispenses out, shaved ice will remain so when the door is opened, that shaved ice falls out, landing on the top of the freezer door below or on the floor. Finally, the "trap" door that converts cubes to crushed gets stuck quite often and I have to move it over with a wooden spool. Very inconvenient

I love my appliance. My only concern is we have no repair/maintenance i. Our area so keeping our fingers crossed we never have an issue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased the freeze frig to go along with the purchase of a new, 64 YO home. The stainless steel Bosch replaced a jet black frig that protruded 4" into a tight, oblong kitchen. With the kitchen painted white the Bosch freezer frig looks great. We are amazed at the design efficiency over our former side-by-side frig. Also the doors have clever inner shelving. The freezer allows a full scope of frozen goodies. No regrets here!

It has ample adjustable shelf space, three drawers, bottom freezer with a drawer, and outside access for water and ice cubes - including a bottle refill option. The bonus is that it makes ice cubes very fast.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One month in, I'm loving almost everything about this fridge. Its sleek exterior and interior. Despite it being only counter-depth, it feels roomy. Very programmable to control temps. Ice maker and water dispenser work well - soft ice (which I prefer), good seal so no drips, and considerably quietter than many I've used. On the less-positive side; you need to be intentional about closing the fridge doors, a soft hip tap doesn't cut it and leaves them a crack open. The bottom drawer (that runs the width) is a little persnickety being pulled out or pushed in. I wish the mini shelves that wrap around the ice maker in the left-hand door had higher rims to better protect jarss/etc. stored there.

Spacious interior with clear drawers makes it easy to see all contents. Ice maker is great and provides what seems like an endless supply of ice. Would have given 5 stars but the drawers don't slide as smoothly as I think they should and the doors don't open all the way to make removing the bottom drawer easy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ice dispenser is too high up on this unit and the water dispenses at an angle toward the back which means it hits the press paddle if the container is too short. I don't know why it doesn't just dispense straight down! The ice machine is also incredibly small so if you're entertaining, prepare to buy ice. I only had 6 people over and that was too much ice used over a period of 4 hours. For a stainless steel fridge, it gets dirty really quickly. I do like the counter depth fridge but I think there are better ones out there.

We can fit SO much more in this refrigerator than we could in our previous awful terrible no good one. We are Bosch customers for life.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased a Bosch 500 series refrigerator just prior to Thanksgiving. Imagine having a turkey dinner ready to cook, the entire family about to arrive but no working refrigerator! Fortunately, we had an old dorm room table top frig to move the food into and avoid disaster. Out we went to find a replacement ASAP. We considered many brands to replace the defunct unit. We wanted a stainless finish, ice and water dispenser accessible on the outside, and the refrigerator had to fit our counter depth cabinet design. After looking at a number of brands, Bosch was the winner for a number of reasons. First was the quality. The stainless finish was superior to less expensive brands. Most pother brands had a stainless front and sides that seemed flimsy and a nonstainless back panel. The Bosch has a full stainless steel back, more substatnial doors and handles, adjustable interior LED lighting, and a configuration of shelves, drawers and door space was perfect for our needs. We are amazed at how quiet the Bosch is compared to the 4 brands we owned previously. The design of the freezer compartment is very practical. The space is configurable and the freezer door opens and closes smoothly. I was initially wary of the wifi connection that sends alerts about "door is opened a long time" or "change water filter" because, we already have message overload from our car, furnace, security cameras, thermostat and children (OK, we are glad to get messages from the children). The Bosch only bothers us if it really needs to. There are few downsides to this refrigerator. The long bottom drawer is useful but it has a bump in the middle that can get in the way. The water dispenser tends to spash a bit if you are trying to fill a small glass but it works perfectly on normal sized glasses, a thermose or mugs. This is a great product and we are very happy that we made the purchase.

After 7 months, the ice maker failed, a common issue found in online reviews. Lacking confidence in the appliance, I felt compelled to spend an extra $500 on an extended warranty. Service under warranty was a headache with only 3 local repair options; one refused, and two were unresponsive. The first delivery had a scratched door and was replaced by Home Depot after weeks of delays. The stylish exterior doesn't compensate for these headaches. I won't choose Bosch for future appliance purchases.

I give it 4 stars due to the doors not closing without making sure it's completelty closed. And the lage tray inside has to have both doors open to open it. Other than that we love it.
