Leaked after 3 years. 6 year warranty on tank not leaking. I will have to see if they will replace it.

Wall mounted under my kitchen in the basement so we didn’t have to run the water so long for hot water. Also feeds the dish washer and laundry. Easy to install, works great.

I have this installed in series after my tankless water heater. This provides a buffer of hot water to prevent any sort of cold water sandwich between hot water uses since the tankless heaters can take a moment to activate when flow begins. It also is important to me because when low-usages such as efficient washing machines and some dishwashers use hot water it's at such a low rate that it would not trigger the tankless' minimum flow rate. Between the two of them I feel I have a combination that results in endless hot water, immediate use when needed, and energy efficiency. Please note that this is the size to get if you plan to use your water heater in a similar capacity as the smaller tanks have 1/2" fittings that would likely limit your flow rates for whole-house solutions. This one is 3/4" and requires a hard-wired connection.

Very good replacement for my 32 foot camper take over 10 minute shower water don't get scalding hot but hot enough to take shower I only use the hot water side don't even turn on cold side and have water heater turned up to max on dile works great awesome product. Did have to get extra parts to make it work I whent with washmachine hoses and had to get hose to pipe thread insert to make it work and one side 3/4 to half in fittings and Teflon tape and wireed a plug to it good to go easy fix.

Works well for a tiny house/ rv

Fairly easy to install. Had to purchase additional electrical and plumbing supplies. Wonderful to have instant hot water to kitchen sink.

Heater leaked after 14 months of use. Wiring faulty inside temperature face plate_melted wire insolation_just barely made it past warranty. Junk

Bosch. Good stuff. Been in service for two months without a single problem. Well insulated with simple heat switch control. 7gal. Perfect amount for complete wash and rinse with spare hot water. Real simple install, fast recovery. Low cost. Totally recommend.

It took an out $200 worth of parts, but it works. Not quite as simple as it seems, but after a few minutes I get a hot shower. Guess that’s all I really wanted.

Love this water heater so far! Installed for 10 days in my cabin and could not be happier. Dial that lowers water temp works great; if you want very hot so that you can extend your hot water at your point of use.. bingo! I conserve water and have a shut off valve at my shower head so 7 gals. is plenty for me to take a full military shower and wash my hair! Anyone conserving water should install an on/off valve at shower head anyway. If you like to take long hot showers this heater would NOT BE FOR YOU. This unit is supposed to be hard wired. I attached/wired a 12 guage, 6 foot cord to it so that I could plug or unplug it. I have experience so the installation was easy for me, otherwise you should consult a professional for the wiring and plumbing. The heater produces exactly like it says its supposed to and I would give it 10 stars if I could.

I finally have hot water in my kitchen what's truly fantastic is that I can finally use my dishwasher after 4 years and I can now actually get the dishes clean. I turn on the faucet and I have hot water immediately What's not to love about that.

we have it as a secondary water heater for the other part of the house, this is our second ,1 we love it we waist less water we live in Cali so we save as much we can...thank U Bosch......

We can not recommend this because it is not properly represented in the photo, the control panel is upside down. It has a two position options that requires the customer to install a bung plug and the pressure relief valve. It has no drain valve. When moved to the second position option it only holds 5.1 gal horizontally, that reduces the capacity by almost 1/3 .Vertically it holds 7 gallons. The front of the heater is covered with crooked labels, some are upside down. As of right now we can not comment on power usage or the recovery rate , but we can say that it is the best one by far for the price. We have only installed this product for less than 1 month. As of now it is meeting our expectations.

May just be a glitch, but it did not work right out of the box. Went thru a lot of work to install it, plugged it in, and nothing. Will be returning it when I can get a plumber back out here to take it out again. I will probably buy the same one, it must be a fluke - right? An expensive fluke.

I've been using these Bosch water heaters for over twenty years and am not aware of an element burning out yet. Apparently it is hard to beat a titanium element.

We've only had it for about a month, so I cant speak to reliability or longevity, but so far it has worked great, we've had no problem's with it. In our application, it's used as a hot water "booster" for a kitchen sink that's a 90 feet from the water heater.

This is my second Bosch heater. Previous heater lasted almost 8 years. So the installation was easy since the pumping was already in place.Works well for a single point. Would recommend placing the heater in a heater pan in case of any leaks. This will protect the cabinet floor.

These water heaters don’t seem to last More than 7 years. I’m sure it depends on minerals in the water and maintenance on the unit. Keep in mind these are not serviceable…

This was purchased for use in a out building shop / garage with a restroom. The 7 gallon size is great for using the sink and any hot water needed while in the shop and was even great when we had to shut of the water in the house for a day while doing some plumbing. I did not want a 220v water heater in an all electric house, and yet did not want a small unit that was just enough for handwashing. This unit works perfect for this situation. Also having the safety valve and anode rod, like a large unit is awesome, especially when on well water. It is installed just like a large unit, with a small "point of use" expansion valve.

Purchased similar item on the past and was very satisfied with it so I bought another. Was sent a used item. HD nonotorious for sending used and returned items.

I bought this water heater for my camper. Very easy to install and plenty of hot water now to shower. Great investment
