We researched quite a bit before deciding on this DW. Consumer reports had great reviews and a few friends praised it also. The adjustability of the middle and upper (third) shelf is very useful and handy. We are unpacking from our move and washing everything so we are quickly learning about the flexibility of these shelves. Super quiet also! We love how clean and dry the dishes turn out and the dishwasher is so quiet that we sometimes only know its running by the cool red light that shines on the floor while running. If you're debating purchasing a Bosch, don't debate any further...go out and buy one immediately. You'll be glad you did.

Purchased this as we wanted the third rack as shown on the Home Depot ad (see photo). The unit we received has a different top tray, not what is shown. The tray received seems flimsy and only has a small cutlery insert, not full tray. We had a Bosch dishwasher (with the full cutlery tray) in New Zealand, and were very pleased with it. The overall quality seems to have dropped and not worth the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to wait for four months to receive my dishwasher, but it was worth the wait. This is my third Bosch and this one is very quiet, and has the Crystal Dry feature built in. This models footprint is deeper than my previous models, and it didn't fit securely. I had to hire an experienced handyman to pull out the dishwasher, and modify the toe kick on opposite side of kitchen cabinet to be fully secured. Now I can open my silverware drawer without banging into the side of control panel. The modification was pricey, but now it's complete. Many years to enjoy my new dishwasher!

We waited 2 years for this unit to be back in stock. I was going to purchase an LG because they were available but our son had done the research and said Bosch was a better dishwasher. We finally got ours delivered and installed and can't be more happy. It cleans really well and is super quiet. If you self install, be careful coupling the drain hose to the plastic threaded coupling...can easily cross thread. Don't need teflon tape on this hose connection.

We just got our Bosch dishwasher and have had it for a week so far. It is EXTREMELY QUIET, offers lots of loading flexibility, and cleans dishes extremely well. After a bad couple of years with our previous dishwasher, we decided it was time to look into a brand known for its quality, and we got this Bosch. The drying performance is just average. On one occasion we found a Tupperware completely filled to the brim with water (it didn't have a lid), but all the dishes came out completely dried. There's nothing too special about the drying performance of this dishwasher. The washing performance, however, is extremely satisfying. I've only seen one or two food specs ever on dishes, and we usually have low to medium-soiled loads. Probably the most astoundingly good aspect of this dishwasher is the noise level. It is SO QUIET that we have to look at the red InfoLight to tell if it's running at at all. In fact, it clocked in at 44 db, just above the advertised level, according to the Series 6 Apple Watch's decibel meter. If InfoLight wasn't a feature, we would've been wondering if it was on at all! The CrystalDry process at the end of the wash, however, produces a humming noise that's noticeably louder than the rest of the wash. It's still very unobtrusive, however. The fancy display on the control panel is another great feature. You don't have to guess the time the dishwasher will take for a certain cycle; the display tells that time right there once you've selected a cycle! For example, if you're on a tight schedule and you want to know exactly when the cycle will be done, you could just look at the display and adjust your cycle to match the time that you want it to take. The loading flexibility is another thing we like about this dishwasher. The third rack allows for even more efficient storing of silverware, in addition to the basket on the lower rack! Our old dishwasher didn't have foldable tines, so this dishwasher allows for way more dishes to be stored inside. The door is also highly fingerprint resistant, so you don't have to clean it constantly, which was something our old dishwasher suffered from. Overall, this dishwasher has definitely satisfied our needs during the first week of usage, and it seems that Bosch has gone above and beyond to create products with great performance. The only test now is to see how many years it will last.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are thrilled with our Bosch 800 Series dishwasher. Easy to install, this Bosch is the quietest dishwasher we have ever owned. The three shelves provide more space and options for placement than our former dishwasher. We found that a pre-rinse and the 60 minute cycle does a fantastic job on cleaning a full load. The easy to see red light on the floor tells us the washer is on and when it is done. This dishwasher performs so much better than any dishwasher we have previously owned. Recommend it with no reservations. Two of our adult children now ate proud Bosch owners!

Quietest dishwasher we've ever had. The red light beams on the floor to let us know it is working and when it is finished and dry. I like the top shelf specially made for utensils and everything I have put in the last six weeks since we bought it has come out clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced an older BOSCH dishwasher so the install was simple with clear directions. Our new BOSCH eliminated the visible controls with an elegant, clean-lined handle the only surface feature. While doing its usual work, from sparkling wash to bone dry, it visibly and audibly just disappears into the cabinetry. Truly, the projected red glow in the floor is the only reassurance it is busy washing.

This new Bosch dishwasher was a game changer and save so much time at the end of the night after dinner. Now we have extra time to spend with the kids before putting them to sleep.

I have had this washer for 2 years and I can't wait to replace it.  The dishes come out wet, even when using a rinse aid. I run the dish washer twice for every load. the second run is just to rinse off all the soap scum left by the first run. Picture below shows a blender bottle that was just cleaned by the dish washer.  The amount of soap scum left on the dishes is disturbing.  I would just use this dish washer as a wash rack, but the tines are so close and oddly spaced that it doesn't even work for that.  Overall, unless you enjoy drinking soap water and having water rings in your kitchen cabinets I would not recommend this dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this unit for around 3 months or so. I bought it to replace an older Electrolux that just didn't seem to be cleaning as it should. So far zero issues as I would expect with this brand. I have used a Bosch dishwasher before and had zero issues for nearly 15 years! This 800 series is super quiet, cleans excellent and really does do a great job of drying even plastic cups. I've yet to find anything I do not like. I was not paid or provided this unit to leave this review.

I didn't believe the other reviews stating this machine would get baked on food to just go away...man I was wrong. It really gets through anything. It is truly an amazing appliance and perfoms better than I could have imagined. Love how the dishes come out totally dry. I still do a very quick rinse for large pieces of food, just so I don't have to clean out the trap every week. I would recommend this model to anyone wanting an extremly powerful dishwasher with silence.

We bought this dishwasher in January 2021 for installation in our newly renovated house which we didn't move into until late March. The dishwasher wasn't used until March 24th & we've had nothing but problems with it ever since. It continually says WATER TAP even though the plumber has checked the water supply & there's no blockage whatsoever. We thought it just might be a faulty sensor but things have just gone from bad to worse. If we turn the dishwasher on it will not allow us to choose a cycle on the left or the right. No drying occurs & when we open it everything is soaking wet. Many times we try to start it & it just turns itself off & won't run at all. Last few days we were only able to get it to start twice & both times we discovered sizable pools of water in front of the dishwasher. Now after closer examination we can see the dishwasher is actually leaking while it's running & has severely damaged the adjacent cabinet & our hardwood flooring. We tried to contact Bosch today but they referred us to another company with just an answering machine. We've never owned a Bosch before & purchased it with such high expectations but this has been a disastrous purchase for us & now we must pay the cabinetmaker to come fix our cabinets etc. Very disappointed in the Bosch product!

One of the key features that drove us to select this more expensive model over the others was the advertised feature that it could dry plastic ware. All of our attempts to run with different settings over the past month failed to produce that result. Both dishes and plastic ware are dripping wet, not dry. The old $300 dishwasher that we replaced was able to dry more effectively than this $1150 model.

I am so unimpressed with this product. It's a 2.5 hour cycle with crystal dry and water still pools in plastics no matter how they are tilted. I still have to spend time shaking them out and using my counter space to dry everything. If you have small plastics for children or portion control, the only place they won't flip over, is the third (top) rack, you know the rack you wanted for your cutlery, spatulas, etc. I don't wash pots in the dishwasher, so the option of lower racks is pointless. You'd think a machine that costs this much had more adjustable racks on the lower tiers. Why not all of them? All of my snack size plastics flip over and get filled with dirty water. my dog's stainless steel bowls are too wide even for the adjustable tines. This dishwasher fits classic dishes, saucers, and cereal bowls well. That's it. And I still have to pay for it. My old Frigidaire is supposedly from an inferior product line. There were many more options to secure small plastics, and adjust the tines for families who don't use standard dishes and cups.

I have had a miele dishwasher for the past 20 years but hwen it broke I decided to try the Boshe dishwasher since I have heard such great things about it. I now wish I had not done that. The buttons are not responsive and have to be pushed several times sometimes. The dishes and the door of the dishwasher get a white discoloration all over them. My dishes now look a hundred years old instead of crystally bright like I am use to. Difficult to get anyone to help me with this from the store (Lowes) or from Boshe. Possibly due to COVID but still this is ridiculus. I am very unhappy!!

Our super-quiet BOSCH dishwasher is very well designed, engineered, and manufactured in the USA! We are extremely sastified with our decision to purchase our BOSCH dishwasher.

My previous dishwashers were higher end models from 2 other brands. Neither of them could properly dry the dishes and were not very quiet, and also required frequent repairs. The bosch is an excellent product and has lived up to the reputation very well. Price is subjective since I feel like it will last a very long time and pay for itself with reliabilty.

I was skeptical buying this sight unseen, Covid, I’m glad I did! The cleaning power is amazing! I had a moose punch bowl that had eggnog in it, we dumped out the left over eggnog and left it sitting on the counter for two days, yuck! I didn’t rinse it out before I put it in to see what would happen. It came out sparkling clean along with all my Christmas meal dishes, from huge to small. I cannot believe my ham pan is sparkling clean. This thing is over the top! One of the best features is how it dries. All those items that say hand wash only? Not anymore, put it on the crystal dry setting and everything came out perfect. From my Christmas vacation moose set to my condiment tray to those inexpensive plastic 1.00 Santa plastic plates came out perfect, no melting anything. I’ll post the items that are hand wash only that was put in the dishwasher.This is worth is weight in gold! Now for drying, anything that has a rim that can hold water on top of a cup or whatever of course it’ll have a little standing water because it has no where to drain to. This dishwasher is still shocking to me of what I can put in and have it come out perfect! Thank you Bosch!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this dishwasher to replace another Bosch that was part of a recall program. We decided to upgrade a model and wow, what a difference in both cleaning and sound. The dishwasher is very quiet and hard to tell is running. The only noise that's running is when it's draining water into the sink garbage disposal. It also gets all dishes really clean. I love the delay feature and other features too. Also, the darker stainless steel is more contemporary and hides stains and fingerprints better than regular stainless steel.
