Removed thinset and tile easily. However, it's just too small for large jobs. It's great for small bathroom jobs or tight areas. Great bit to have in your tool bag.

Bulldog Xtreme 3/4 in. x 10 in. SDS-plus Viper Flat Chisel review - BOSCH ROCKS! This SDS Plus chisel tears up concrete with gusto! I have another Bosch chisel and it also is superb - they keep their edge and are tough, tough, tough. I used this in my Ridgid Rotary Hammer drill and it just goes to town on concrete! I have other Bosch drill bits for drilling into wood and driving screws and also a magnetic bit holder and all Bosch products just ROCK! Lovin' it. There ya go!

Great SDS-plus Chisel for Hammer Drilling I find that the most common bit I'm reached for when using my hammer drill is this chisel. It does a great job chipping away just about anything, digging into soil, separating pieces, popping off tiles, and so on. The bit stays sharp for a long time and the flutes both make it easier to resharpen and help channel material away from the cutting edge. It's a surprisingly good price given that it's likely to last for nearly forever. Who is this for: Anyone with an SDS-plus rotary hammer. Seriously, if you have one and don't have this bit you're missing out. Who isn't this for: This doesn't fit well into chucks that aren't SDS-plus. So don't try to just put this in your regular hammer drill. Double check your drill before you buy.

This is a high quality SDS PLUS flat chisel. I used it with my Milwaulkee rotary hammer M18 and it effortlessly dislodged a whole of tiles. The chisel allows a high level of precision and seems very durable. It is quite long which is great as it gives perfect balance for the tool, reducing arms and back pains. It is made in Italy, and as with any Bosch item, it seems to have been designed with the user in mind. I highly recommend this item.

Great size. Easy to maneuver when chipping away at blocks. Fits perfectly in my SDS hammer drill. Great for shaping concrete blocks. The chisel tip is one inch long. And there are grooves on both sides that corrects itself and allows the tip to always be sharp. The metal shaft is very durable and wont bend or snap even with a decent amount of weight on it.

Bulldog Xtreme 3/4 in. x 10 in. SDS-plus Viper Flat Chisel is Awesome! I had some removal of some mortar & bricks, I had to borrow a friends Bosch Hammer to complete the demo. I was hoping this would do the job. Upon advise I got this Chisel to pair with the Bosch Hammer & what a Pair! Quick & easy removal of all material. It doesn't look like much but this is 1 little Tough Chisel! Makes me want to purchase the Bosch Hammer for myself.

This is a good bit given its size and the power of the drill behind it. It can be used to break up concrete, but frankly if I had a lot to do I would move up to an SDS-max size bit if I could afford the heavier duty hammer drill... or perhaps I would just rent one. However, I found that it was more than adequate for drilling holes in concrete. I tested it first on softer patio paver and then on some harder concrete that was anchoring some broken fence posts that I wanted to replace. It drilled into both of them well, and I could break up even the harder concrete if worked my way in from the edges and was a little patient.

As a plumber I use a demo hammer for all sorts of tasks whether I’m chipping concrete floors or removing brick. I needed a point so I found this one that is supposed to not get stuck due to the spiral flutes around the tip. I have see it to break out some bricks that someone cemented into a sump pit. The Tip worked great. I have to say that I’ve never got a Tip stuck so the “non stick” feature may not be put to the test. But it seems to be a quality tool that should last a long long time.

I had two fence posts that needed to be replaced. Because my irrigation piping was so close to the fence post and concrete around it (behind me), chipping out pieces of concrete with a shovel was too risky. The post was submerged in concrete at least 2 1/2 to 3 feet deep and I wanted it completely cleaned out. So, I went to Home Depot and purchased a Milwaukee SDS D-Handle Rotary Hammer and the SDS-Plus Chisel. Let's just say there's no way I would have been able to do this job without the right tools. The chisel was precise and chipped close enough to the irrigation piping never once making me feel the it would slip while chipping. This Chisel has to be the most hardest material known to mankind too because it did not break, crack or chip the edge and I worked it hard. After I finished the first post I started working the chisel on the second concrete area. I was able to finish the job and refill both holes with new concrete and posts that day. The great thing about this chisel is I can now use it to chop off a section of concrete on my driveway due to an uprooted tree and repave that. I highly recommend it.

This bit is solid and well engineered. It slips into the SDS mount of my Rotary hammer drill (Milwaukee) easily. It was very quick at removing cement from some old firebricks that I am recycling to make a BBQ. My next task for it to to break up a cement walkway and I am confident that it will work without issues. Packaging is simple and easy enough to open.

I've got a bunch of Bosch large boring drill bits, and SDS Max bits, but this was actual my first SDS plus bit from Bosch. Very solid, just like a smaller version of my SDS Max chisel bits. Good weight, good edge, which I'll have pounded round in no time... Just kidding, I've had the same Max bits for years. If this lasts anywhere as long as my Bosch boring bits, it'll be a great deal.
