Barely any assembly required. Saw is easy to use, up front controls are a little complicated at first but much nicer than having to reach behind. Fits with very little overhang on a 25" counter and rotates out of the way when not in use. Blade guard has a tendency to get caught/deflect during some cuts, and there is a small amount of lateral deflection during sliding cuts. Dust collection is surprisingly good when hooked up to a Festool CT vac with a 27mm hose and expect to see even better collection with a larger diameter hose. Overall, this is a very good saw with an excellent crosscut capacity but minor deflection issues in the guard and wider cuts.

This saw was a toss-up with a saw from another manufacturer. The features section of the CM10GD doesn't mention laser or shadow line which I thought was strange since most saws in this price range have one or the other. I contacted Bosch approximately 3wks ago through their online chat and asked them if this saw has shadow line. Tech Support indicated it had shadow line. I ordered the saw and picked it up today. I unpacked it and was surprised to see no laser or shadow on it. The manual didn't show laser or shadow either. I contacted Bosch again today and after some time they confirmed this saw doesn't have laser or shadow. I asked if Bosch offers a shadow or laser kit to install on the saw and their Tech Support indicated nothing is available. Sucks because I liked the saw so I repacked it and took it back to Home Depot for return. I would have kept the saw even if I had to purchase a kit to install shadow or laser.

I love everything about this saw. It has so many adjustments to customize it. I really like the scissor retracting arm as opposed to the sliding rails. It allowed me to put the saw up again a window. It’s very reliable and cut great right out of the box.

Phenomenal tool, needed just a few fine tuned adjustments out of the box and it performs excellently.

Seems to be well made and sturdy. Only used in a trial run but works as expected. Handle a little large for small hands but operable. Would consider a laser light guide. Looking forward to putting through paces soon.

Great Saw. Heavy. Works exactly right, needed a little adjustment out of the box. Heavy. Not terribly loud but i do wear wear protection. Did I mention it’s heavy?

This saw replaced a Makita 1013 that provided me many years of service. I went with the Bosch for two reasons. The first is the hand grip. With advancing years my hands started to dislike the grip on the Makita. The grip on the Bosch allows my hand to be in a neutral position while making a cut. It is much more comfortable than the Makita. My second reason for going with the Bosch is their axial-glide system. My workshop is pretty tight and being able to place the saw up against a wall is really appreciated. The saw has plenty of power and the dust-collection is acceptable. Lastly, but perhaps most important, I trust the Bosch name. The several Bosch tools I own have all provided drama free, reliable, service. Dislikes? None. I do wish it was a bit lighter but I don't need to move it much so it isn't a big deal.

Now that I have used my new Bosch Miter Saw for a few weeks, I can say it is far superior than any I have ever used. Buttery smooth action and precision cuts right out of the box. A little on the pricey side, but well worth it. It will also be great in my limited space shop as the Bosch bevel action allows it to be closer to a wall. I would recommend anyone on the fence about purchasing this saw to not be hesitant.

Love this saw. It’s built like a tank. With the articulating arm the saw feels more like a radial arm saw. We purchased the saw as we finish out our new timber barn. We’ve mainly been cutting full dimensional rough pine up to 12” wide. Works flawlessly. I highly recommend this saw. We also purchased the Bosch stand. A little pricey but we’ll worth it. The arms extend much further out than the others, the gravity design of folding the stand makes it easier to set up and the stability of the stand with heavy lumber up to 16’ long without fear of tipping over.

I am only giving this fine saw a 4-star rating because I just started using it. I don't have the skill yet or experience as a woodworker to use all its capabilities. I have it mounted on a cart with wheels and a small shop-vac hooked up to the dust tube at the bottom of the cart. For what I have used it so far - building a 2-door wood gate for backyard - I am very pleased with how it cuts and the ease that it cuts angles. I also bought a nice cover for it when not in use. It has no laser, but I you don't need one.

HAPPY! This is a great saw, love everything about it. It's pricey but this girl needed to spoil herself and get a quality tool for my multi deck project. The best tool I've ever purchased!! I purchased the stand that goes with it too, wonderful!!
