I bought this 16" braided supply line to replace a 9" solid supply. I bought the longer line so I could bend it easily to fit.

I bought this as a stop-gap measure until I could get one with a metal 7/8-inch ballcock nut. The previous supply line -- like this one -- had a plastic ballcock nut, and it sheared off (no one near it, had been in place for years) and caused a flood in four rooms and a walk-in closet.
