Good quality, worked as it should

I recently installed a new bathroom sink faucet and decided to add shutoff valves on supply lines; this was a great option......nice quality, easy installation.....works perfectly.

Was easy to install; appears to be good quality. The quarter turn shut off is certainly easier than the old, multiple turn valve that I replaced. The new valve does slow down the rate of refill to the tank but it's not a big deal.

The item works, which saved it from a 1 star rating, but the box contained a right angle connection instead of straight. Perhaps I should have opened the box to protect myself from company mistake from the unopened box, but I didn't think it should be necessary. I will next time.

The 1/4 ball valve is an excellent replacement of any old gate valve.

It leaked, had to reuse the the old one for the night

My purchase was not a good experience which has nothing to do with the quality of the product. I purchased a BrassCraft 3/8 in. FIP Inlet x 3/8 in. Compression Outlet 1/4-Turn Straight Valve only to find when I got home the WRONG one was in the box. Not a huge deal if I lived near the store but when you live 45 minutes away and gas prices through the roof, makes for an irritated person.

I woke up and found water on my bathroom floor. The valve for my toilet supplie line had let loose. So I picked up a new valve and a flexible supplie line wiel I was at it. The install took about 10 minutes. Everything is holding and the valve works perfectly

Love the single quarter turn on off! No stripping out the knob like the old one.

I only bought this 1/4 turn valve out of a hope that it would be less likely to fatally corrode in the open position. I have yet to install it. They are easy to install which is nice because you have to do it often. BrassCraft mult-turn valve that it needs to replace will not turn and the cheap handle can not withstand the torque of a wrench or pliers. Of course you never know that until there is an emergency. Sad to say this bad quality is made in America. Please make something four times as expensive that I can rely on. I have some valves in the house from 1925 that work just fine.

Quality valve with no leaks upon installation.

Very easy to install and use with only having a 1/4 turn from on to off.

I am rating this 5 stars to hopefully convince the Home Depot computer to cease and desist sending me a request to rate it every few weeks. I purchased it thinking I would need it for a repair. As it turned out I did not need it but kept it in case ....

The customer service is rotten and I would never buy from Home Depot again. The workers are very inexperienced
