Great items for mi jobs

I thought it was maybe excessively long and stiff. When I went to push the stove into place I thought the hose would kink. But I was able to reposition it before I pushed it all the way back against the wall. It basically goes straight up and straight down and flows perfectly.

Not a lot of info provided about this kit. This is what I have found out about it: This kit is equivalent to the Brasscraft PSC1107 kit, and is intended for higher gas flow rates need for appliances that have an input rating of 65,000 – 106,000 BTUs (larger gas range or furnace), but can be used for smaller appliances if they have the right thread sizes. The kit includes Brasscraft parts: (1) CSSC54R-48 5/8" OD (15/16-16 Thread) x 48" yellow coated stainless steel gas connector (1/2” ID flex tube with flare fittings on both ends), an MRU2-10-12 Safety+PLUS EFV ¾” MIP (½” FIP tapped) valve, and an MAU2·10·8S ½" MIP (3/8” FIP tapped) steel fitting. (1) an MAU2-10-12S ¾” MIP (½" FIP tapped) steel fitting. (1) 3mil tube of pipe thread sealant. (1) 3mil tube of leak detection solution. The connector (flex tube with flare nuts) goes between a gas shut-off valve (or gas supply pipe) and an appliance by using two fittings, which go between the flare nuts on the connector and the shut-off valve on one end, and the appliance on the other end. To connect from the gas supply pipe/shut-off valve to one of the flex connector flare nuts, screw the Safety+PLUS Excess Flow Valve into a ¾” FIP shut-off valve or ¾” pipe coupling on one end and into the flex tube flare nut on the other end. If you choose not to use the Safety+PLUS Excess Flow Valve on the supply side of the connector, you can substitute it with the MAU2-10-12S fitting, which has the same thread sizes as the Safety+PLUS valve. To connect from the appliance to the flex connector flare nut, use the MAU2-10-8S fitting (assuming the appliance has a ½” FIP fitting on it). The fitting has the 5/8” OD flare thread on one end, and a ½” MIP and 3/8” FIP tapped threads on the other end. So the connection goes like this: gas supply pipe/shut-off valve  Safety Valve or MAU2-10-12S  flex tube with flare nuts  MAU2-10-8S  appliance Always screw and tighten the fittings into the gas supply pipe/shut-off valve and appliance BEFORE connecting and tightening the flex tube flare nuts onto the fittings. Brasscraft also has the MAU2 fittings made with brass instead of steel that you can purchase separately if you would prefer brass over steel. The flare fittings are to be torqued to 250-520 in-lbs (~20-40 ft-lbs).

It fit and there were no leaks

Works well the hose is very flexible for me to move my stove in and out while adjusting the stove level in my kitchen. The pipe dope that was included in really helpful to secure a tight seal and not having to force me to buy a huge bottle of pipe dope just to seal any potential gas leak. Gas leak detection is also included which is great! One thing I would suggest for the manufacturer to do is to change the packaging. It is too flimsy hard to see the parts included, thus customer tend to rip open bags to exam the components. Please make it a clear plastic box to prevent other customers from simply ripping the bags to see what items is being included.

The sales person was very helpful and the product was deliver on time! The Whirlpool Gas cooktop is beautiful and we love it!

Would like to get just the flexible line without the fittings. End up paying twice as much to get the job done.

Not great, not bad, however, if you are connecting to a valve, you will need a nipple as it is not set up for that
