This is a great gas can, it safely stores gas and easily pours gas into my boat's gas tank.

Best gas can I have ever used. It is the perfect size holding 6 gallons. The spout makes the can perfect you can put exactly the amount of fuel in you want. Like say you want to fill up and not spill and with this can you can do that with out a funnel. It's the best can ever and is worth it. The spout is only plastic you have to be careful when pouring but I never have a problem with it.

I have a generator with a 7 gal gas tank and these 6 gal gas cans are perfect for filling it. I wait for the tank to be almost empty, and just dump the whole can in. No worries about overfilling or needing more gas to get the fill done.

The can is fine. The no leak spout is terrible. I bought two. Both leak like sieves. Had to replace both spouts with a generic. Called briggs, they pawned me off on the manufacture who referred me back to home depot. HD did their best to get a replacement for me, however the manufacture was unable or unwilling to comply. Don't buy into these new leakproof spouts. That's all they do. Leak.

I only wish this was sold in stores. Make sure to read directions for use. You have to remove plastic cap on pour spout before use. The complaints I read were all due to this fact. Remove Plastic Cap! It works great.

it seems to be a great product but the no leak part of the nozzle seem very hard to use until you get to know how it works.

The nozzle was almost impossible ,it was very hard to use . I wanted a extra gas can for my small pickup truck. It took two people to accomplish that task. The green lock was way too touchy and it kept popping out.

it is lighter weight than i hoped it would be . would like to find a heavy duty one

Came quickly and contrary to other reviews the spout mechanism works very well. Good sturdy construction. Perfect for filling my boat.

So far they are very nice gas cans! I like the rectangular shape - very stable and take up less room, plus the extra 1 gallon (6 gallon vs. 5 gallon) makes a difference in hauling gas home for the boat (I keep 6 of these cans in the yard for topping off the boat and cars at home). I haven't tried the CARB-complaint nozzle yet - probably won't ever - we all know how useless they are! I simply use a transmission funnel and pour gas directly from the can - it works great!

One of the 4 I ordered had a hole on the bottom. Good besides that.

Gas can itself seems fine. The spout leaves a lot to be desired. It is difficult to keep the unlock aligned to enable the spring mechanism to be pushed in to dispense fuel. I like the ones you can release and they stay released!

The spout engineered for this can has the durability of a toy. It broke the very first time I used it because it was not strong enough, was inflexible and did not fit well in the opening to the boat gas tank. It will never hold since most people will need to rest the weight of 6 gallons of gas against the spout.or try to hold the can in a position above the tank.

Bought two of these after Hurricane Irma, these are junk. Trying to pour in a generator, nozzle leaks on both of them. You get more gas on the ground and your hands than you do in the tank. Not what you would expect at all. It is a shame that Briggs would put their name on this can. They must of just started making this junk and slung it out on the sales floor, just to make a buck off the already hurting communities, after a hurricane.

I bought 2 of these cans, to fill up my boat, you tighten it up as much as you can, but it still leaks.you need a rag to tighten it up a little more, then you have a very hard time unscrewing the cap. the reason I bought this was the no spill system, no one want to pour gas in the water.

Only way to get anything larger then a 5 gal can. have to order online.

This can arrived with the top missing. On the same day the gas can arrived I contacted The Home Depot customer service department for a replacement if the missing part. After 2 months If waiting on the part, which I never received, ultimately resulted in me requesting a refund which occurred immediately. I will be extremely reluctant in ordering another Briggs & Stratton gas can. Their customer service sucks!
