Great Grill for the price
The grill had some rust and damages to the outside, but not that big of a deal.

great grill
I like the fact that each individual burner has its own ignitor, meaning you don't have to fire up all 5 if you only need to use one or two. The unused space under the cart would be more practical if it were enclosed and accessible from the front with doors, the way my previous Brinkmann grill was.

Excellent Grill! We used it for our Company Barbecues!!!
This grill came assembled, (upon prior request) and we used it for our Company Barbecue. I LOVE this grill, We cooked the beans on the side burner....worked out perfectly! We were able to cook a large amount of meat at one time, therefore, no one had to wait to eat! I LOVE this grill. Thanks Home Depot!

Great deal for $200.
My review is based on value for the price paid. $200.? Pretty great. I wondered if it would last a year. It's been 1 year, 2 months. Usually the first to go is the self-ignitor. Still works! It has mostly evenly heated spots as well as a cpl cool spots. Most do. The 4 burners still work great. The grill has option of direct heat or moving the "teepees" aside for indirect. Advice: Cover them in foil so they don't rot (a bit flimsy). The side burner is essential for my grilling needs... Does it's job. When not in use...it is extra counterspace. This grill was a "filler" grill. The outdoor kitchen is next. This grill has done a better than expected job. Advice: Assemble patiently. Screw everything down more than TIGHTLY. I went back and added washers, tightend bolts.. Worth it. Only semi-neg comments: No temperature guage; the ceramic grills...eh (treat them well); Add a large tile piece to the non-burner side. Stability is good. Overall: I highly reccommend. A 2 season grill if you/your family grill(s) frequently, 2+ times/wk. ps: The propane usage: 2 thumbs up!

Brinkman 5-Burner BBQ Grill
Purchased this grill for a rental property and it appears to be fairly well built.....I will be able to give a better review after a few times used but Home Depot sent me the survey request I think a bit too soon.

First BBQ grill
I bought this grill for Labor Day weekend and after I took a bite of my first set of ribs I had to ask myself why did I wait this long? Everyone gave me compliments about how nice it looks and how great my ribs tasted. I bought this grill at the Home Depot on Jamaica Ave Queens Ny. If your buying your grill there and getting your propane tank know that all tanks are empty at that location. No one informed me and there is no sign saying this. So after getting the grill together found out its empty. Called up Home Depot and was told that they are the only Home Depot that don't fill up tanks so I had to take it to another Home Depot to do that. After paying to full it I was told that I wasn't suppose to pay for it you get a free refill once you buy a grill which once again nobody told me. So please ask about your free refills when buying your grills. Other than that my grill is great!

    Great Grill Anytime!
This grill has been a great purchase thus far. The setup was well described, and it is very sturdy if constructed per instructions. The five burners make grilling large quantities of food very easy, and the heating rack is good to keep food hot. The propane compatibility makes grilling very fast, and the cast iron grates are great for anything. I have prepared hot dogs, sausages, chicken legs, steak, and pork chops, all with great results. I would suggest this grill to anyone looking for good quality at an affordable price. Lastly, the weight of the grill makes for easy movement, as I move my grill from under the carport and back after each use.

The grill is good for the price. Only setback is that there is no thermometer. Overall good grill.

          Poor experience, former Brinkman owner
The features present on this model for the money led me to select this grill. However, it was missing hardward, once finally installed, the burner shelf was crooked, one of the screw holes was not properly machined, and the thing was made out of the thinnest metal I've seen on a gas grill. The only stainless steel is the hood, the box is just painted metal. I returned the grill to the store for a refund. What a waste of a trip out to the store, the time in assembly, dealing with the summer heat all the while. Yuck! My last grill was a Stainless Brinkman model which looked equivalent. It was made much better, and lasted 8 years even being left outside. However, it weighed twice as much as well. Probably less steel in the new ones. No more Brinkman grills for me.

          Great for the $$
Bought the grill in 2009 and it's still going strong. Mine is an earlier model of the same grill and from the looks of it there aren't really any significant changes. Yes, the ignition switch will stop working within a year. This has happed on every grill I've owned and thats what grill lighters are for. Not really an issue in my book. To those that have said the flame isn't strong enough and won't generate enough heat to cook the food. I don't know the official name of it but it's the propane regulator that is built in for 'safety'. Basically, if the grill knobs are in the on position and you open the propane tank and light the grill you will get weak flames incapable of cooking anything. The knobs must be in the off position with no gas in the lines when you turn the tank on. The grill knobs should be turned on after the tank is turned on and then you can light it for a full flame. I'll be replacing the heat shields on mine this year but it's still working fine and has been sitting outside uncovered through 5 New England winters. It's worth $200 all day.

          Good grill, Bad Brinkmann service
The grill is a great deal. The only issue I had was one of the burners was defective out of the box(holes weren't punched all the way). I contacted Brinkmann and it took over a week to get the item (another weekend without using the grill), even after requesting an expedited resolution.

I bought this for my boyfriend and he loves it! He's grilled almost every day and loves that he can boil the brats on the side burner.

            Worst
If they had a way to give a negative number rating I would Rotted out before the first season was over and yes it was covered when not in use. Replacement parts are more expensive than the grill was

              Great Buy!
Grill has loads of cooking space and lighting each burner is super easy and mine lights every time! The grill is heavy duty too. It doesn't have that cheap look or feel to it at all. I'm very happy with mine. Oh and my grill came pre-assembled so I can't critique the assembly part. This is a great buy for the price and I'd highly recommend it.

5 Burner Gas Grill -On sale for a reason!
Would not recommend this grill. Burner level stays at one level - HIGH! Turning it down does little to lower/maintain temp. Must access grease trap from back of grill. Very inconvenient. Burner by wood smoker unit rendered virtually ineffective.

Great grill for the price conscious.
I gave it a good because sometimes the burners fail to ignite. Then there isn't a thermometer installed. I'm going to drill through the lid and install a charbroil thermometer I purchased from Walmart.

                great grill
Grill is great with individual burners and large surface for grilling. For the money great grill only wish it had a Built-in thermometer as opposed to opening up to check temp. That is the only drawback

This is the best BBQ we have ever had and liked it soooo much that we purchased another for a friend's birthday. He hasn't used it yet, says its too pretty to get dirty, but will soon.
