Nice quiet great fan easy to install

I found this exhaust fan quite easy to install considering 1) I've not done that much handy work in my lifetime, and 2) I did not use the location of the old fan. The drywall template was clear and easy to use, as were the installation instructions. This new fan is quieter than my old fan, moves more air, and uses less power.

Fit right in the old fans slot. Very easy install.

Installing in a 50+ year old home took a bit more time BUT the EZ_Clamp system was a GOD send. It was the only way that we could have upgraded our old, rusty vent to a modernized version without excessive modification. The clamping system was a life saver and the venting is a massive improvement for us. Some are saying it's loud. For us, we can't even hear it (compared to the crop duster propeller that was once there LOL) Great buy if you have a older home and the space for installing.

it was fairly easy to install. a bit noisier than I had hoped for but certainly not overwhelmingly noisy.

Easy to install for the average semi-skilled homeowner.

Easy to install and very quiet. The instructions don't make any sense when they state - Make sure existing fan is no larger than 8” x 8¼”. You have to enlarge the original hole to 10 3/4" x 12 1/4" so as long as your original hole is no larger than that, you'll be fine.

Exhaust fan was easy to install without going into the attic. Just took my time to cut the opening and install it correctly and all went well. Just take it step by step. This appears to be a very good fan, is quiet and the cover looks real good. Wife likes that. Easy electrical connectors too!

That fan is good and fits well. It is 11’x10’. It is easier to install than the previous models. It comes with a strong motor. I replaced my bathroom fan and it is certainly better and clears the room faster. It also has two different size pieces to connect to the vent.

Operationally it seems to be working BUT as far as installation, be warned that one side is only for drywall mounting and the other for joist mounting. For us that put the vent connection on the wrong side! We would have had to use a good length of flexible aluminum ducting to go up and around the whole unit and that would have impeded performance. Nothing on the box, on the website, or in the instructions indicated or warned that it only replaces units where the vent is in a particular orientation to the joist. This also took away the advertised convenience of it supposedly installing WITHOUT having to go into the crawl space or attic.

This unit is much quieter than our old one. The installation was very easy. It has a clean and simple look.

Good fan. Very quiet. Make sure you read the directions, take the fan out of the box and become familiar with how it will be installed in your ceiling BEFORE you cut your sheet rock. It can be difficult to connect the existing duct to the new fan if there isn't any extra, so, I purchased some 4" flex duct about 12" length of it and attached it to the existing duct. that way, when you put the new fan box into your ceiling you can easily pull the extra length of ductthrought he box and attach the oval port piece.. Just some pointers, It's a good fan.

One of, if not THE best retrofit/cut-in fans I have ever installed. And I have put in quite a few. All of the work can be done from the room without having to get into the attic. The wings to secure to the drywall ceiling were easy to use, similar to a 1gang plastic cut-in box. I really liked this product and would recommend it to any contractor or weekend handyman/home owner. They finally got it right!

Really well designed, super easy to install--took me about 40 minutes and I think I encountered every possible difficulty. A heck of a lot quieter than the basic bathroom fans I had in place before. It still has those impossible-to-use clips holding the cover in place though. I hope they'll figure out an improvement to those some time soon.
