I had two old Nutone bathroom exhausts units that were not working when I bought my condo. I was able to find replacement motors and fans on-line. The original grill was very ugly and protruded from the ceiling by about an inch and a half but mounted in the center with a nut. I was able to modify the bracket to replace the bolt hanging down with a nut (I epoxied the nut to the bracket) and then use this grille instead which comes with a decorative bolt that screwed into the nut on the bracket. Now I have a nice flush and clean looking fan grille which makes the bathroom look much better.
