Our house was built in 1962 and is split level. I wanted to stay true to the look of the period and get light into an area that was too dark. This door replaced a solid door in the eating area of our kitchen (door leads to a front deck). Installation was a breeze (I did it myself). Windows are "low-e" which is nice because this door faces SE. Bonus is the dog can look out the bottom glass. I need to finish painting and some other touch-up but the majority of the project took less than a day. Very pleased with the outcome.
Energy Efficient, Beautiful Appearance, Easy to Install
My husband and I just moved in to a 1956 ranch home and wanted to give the house more style while also bringing more light into our living room. It's exactly what we hoped for! I highly recommend it, and didn't have any caulk or quality issues. The installation process wasn't a piece of cake, but the hard work paid off.

We love the design of the door. It's exactly what we wanted. Bothered by the unprofessional finishes. The plastic screw hole plugs are an eyesore on the inside of the door. The material used to seal the outside windows was sloppily applied. Even with careful taping, paint seeped into the interior of the double windows and can only be removed by removing the windows. It takes the beautiful door style and cheapens the final look.

Door seems well made and I had no issues installing. The style of the door looks great with my mid-century ranch house, and the price for the quality and style is unbeatable. The only surprise was that it arrived with a black threshold which was not noted in the description. I am a bit worried about the finish scratching in the future. Time will tell.

This door is a midgrade product. The jamb is nice and strong and it comes in depth options for a 2 x 4 or 2 x 6 wall. The overall appearance of the product is relatively good but the trims around the glass and the glazing itself Is not very high-quality.

Looks great on our recently remodeled 1950s suburban ranch house. Seems like good quality. The three windows let in a lot more light than our old door with one center oval lite. I covered the clear windows with privacy film so the neighbors can't see in while still being able to see who's outside. Keeps noise and dust out. Painted with Behr color Mammoth Mountain.
