Shutters are easy to install and look great. I'm very happy with them and have included a photo to show the installed product. I originally thought they had some very minor imperfections from the molding process around the back edges of some of the shutters, but realized this was not an issue at all. At first, I noticed some residual vinyl on some back edges and thought the small amount of excess vinyl might need to be sanded to clean up the edges, but then I realized that the shutters were actually manufactured as a pair and that one edge was very clean while the opposite might have a few small pieces of extra vinyl (from the mold). I also noticed that every pair has one shutter which is perfect on the right side, while the other shutter in that pair is perfect on the left side. This means that if you hang them logically (i.e. with the perfect edge on the most visible (outer) side, then they require no extra sanding to remove any excess vinyl remnants. So even though a few vinyl remnants from the mold might exist on some of the shutters, they don't require any extra work and are not visible when hung correctly. One nice surprise in a couple of the boxes (I purchased 6 boxes of shutters) was an extra shutter lock fastener. I would love if every pair of shutters included one extra shutter lock fastener as they can sometimes break and having an extra is very useful.

Happy with these shutters...especially for the price. They installed easily and made 100% improvement on the house along with the new siding.

Met my expectations.

Made an unbelievable improvement to the house with minimal effort and cost. On the job learning to install the first set of shutters on the siding. I wouldn't say the other 4 sets were a breeze, but an 85 year old man was able to install 5 sets of shutters in under 10 hours.

These shutters are quite flimsy and the mounting screws are plastic. The screws are also pretty thick and require you to drill large holes in your siding. I purchased these in black and they did not quite meet my expectations of a deep black- you can tell if your house faces the sun they will fade in a few years. They are affordable though so you can add curb appeal on a budget.

The shutters look perfect. We even had Home Depot match their color to create exterior paint for our front door. So happy with them.
