Easier than spreading 7 yds of mulch in one of my big beds. Color looks decent. HD pump sprayer used for application. Clogged a couple of times but over all ok. Wear latex gloves and shoes and clothes you don't care about ruining. Overall decent product. Can't speak to how long color will last yet. We'll see.

Rained 2 days after application and no fadding

I thought it was going to be good, however when I sprayed it on the color does not absolutely stay on at all like it says it’s going to. Big disappointment

Worked well.

Good product. Sprayed it on using a pump sprayer about two weeks ago. Looks great so far. Great idea for keeping black bark looking black.

Great.easier than putting down mulch.

A beneficial product when you need to freshen up your mulch beds.

The color lasted a few days then faded again. It didn’t go back to gray, but it wasn’t as dark as it was when was first applied,

The black dye works really well - I used red colored mulch for many years and my wife wanted to change to black colored mulch. You know that if you cover the red mulch with black mulch, you still see the red showing thru. So I covered all of the red mulch, first with the black dye - let it dry - and then put the black colored mulch down. You could not tell that there was ever red colored mulch there. The 1/2 gal container does cover up to 6,400 sq. ft. Only one thing to be care full about - do not get the black dye on your hands, if so, you must clean your hands ASAP. Other wise - this is a great product.
