I Love the bottle style container! Colorshot's Scuba Marine Blue comes in a polystyrene container that is as unique as it is functional. As opposed to acrylic paint that is contained in tubes, Colorshot's bottle design allows for the paint to be more fluid and shake-able. Flip the top up and squirt the paint onto your palette. Take the top off and the smallish bottle aperture prevents evaporation but still allows for easy brush access. I was able to use the paint straight out of the bottle instead of having to premix it with water. For my project, the viscosity of this paint made it easy to edge the existing art and dried to a cool, antiqued finish. For other applications, it might require another coat to achieve 100% opacity. Finally, brushes and boo-boos are easily cleaned with tap water.

Its time has come - a craft section in Home Depot! And leading it off is the COLORSHOT line of products.
Many hobbyists are constricted by the high cost of hobby supplies, paint being among those items. COLORSHOT acrylic paints come in 2 fluid ounce translucent plastic bottles. You can purchase primary colors and mix anything in the spectrum.
The bottle had a nice resilient foam seal, which should re-seal very well. The paint was quite thick, and would brush on nicely. My application, however, was to spray it on. I mixed the paint 1:1 with tap water. It blended to a smooth consistency, and I did not need to strain it.
The photo of the tractor I painted does not do the paint justice. I did not thoroughly wash this O scale model, which probably left behind oils that inhibited the best adhesion. Considering this error on my part, the paint still stuck well and dried quickly.
Testing the paint on wood, one photo shows it applied on the factory side of a pine 1X and the other on the rough sawn side. For ONE coat, the paint did very well.
I also like that the airbrush cleaned up easily with soap and water.

The color red is notorious for not covering very well and fading. With two coats on a white background, brush marks are still visible and it did not cover very well. I suspect that a third coat will give an even coverage. Fading is a longer term quality not covered with this review. It flowed well and is a nice color. Clean up was easy. Liked the container it was in as well.

What a great & beautiful color this is. I love that I can dilute with water & have the wood grain show through or just add another drop & it thickens right up & covers everything to a bright solid color. It went on very nicely & evenly. I used on a block of wood to try it out & did different comparisons with just 1 drop on each. As you can see from my pics below that the more you add, the darker & richer the paint color gets. It looked fantastic when dried too. It never lost its rich color. Also my brush was easy to clean with just water. I’ll definitely be using this product again with my future projects!
