The Colorshot Acrylic Craft Paint Pens are wonderful! I ordered these in several colors to use around the house and in our business. They can be used to touch up things like furniture and household decor items that have scratches etc. They are also great for craft use or to write down names or messages on items to be shared as gifts with special folks in your life! I love that you can start up with a light coat and build on it as needed to get the desired look! The colors are amazing too!

Its very shiny dark gold color paint pen, which can be used for decoration on gifts, other labels, christmas toys, etc. I liked that it is dark and dense. Since i got Silver color too and forgot to count how many times you have to press to get the ink come out, I remembered to count this time. Its 15 times you have press the tip on the paper when ink comes out. Attached are three pics, - before pen tip is out, - next pen tip out, but no ink drawn - ink drawn after tip pressed 15 times and playing tic tac toe..

This is a lovely silver metallic acrylic paint pen. This is great for adding a touch of elegance to my crafting projects. I especially like it for winter crafts as it gives a cool and icy look to the finished project. It will be great for decorating glass or plastic ornaments. It does not say food-safe, so I would not use it on plates or other eating utensils. The pen has a chisel point, so you can use it for both thin and thick lines. The marker tip is removable, so you can take it off and clean it under running water if it needs it. The paint is permanent and can be used on metal, wood, plastic, glass and more. What's great for my use is that it doesn't have a scent. You shake the pen with the cover on before each use. You pump down on the marker tip until the color flows. Continue to press down during use to keep the paint flowing. I like this feature, as the paint won't drip out accidentally. You may have to do more than one coat to get the coverage you want. If you do, wait until the paint dries before applying a second coat. It dries to touch in about 30 minutes but it takes 24 hours to fully cure.

This is a true dark red acrylic paint pen (not metallic). It is great for a bold look on my crafting projects. I like it for Christmas projects that use a slightly darker look, more of a Victorian Christmas Red. It will be great for decorating glass or plastic ornaments. It does not say food-safe, so I would not use it on plates or other eating utensils. The pen has a chisel point, so you can use it for both thin and thick lines. Excellent chisel tip glitter silver marker for your dark canvas project. This paint pen has an excellent silver color that shows up very nicely even on dark surfaces, and even has some glitter flecks in it. Silver and black are my absolute favorite combination of color. This one does a very good job creating silver on a dark surface! I used this for a fall foliage craft project, swapping out green for silver in my holly and fern illustrations. The chisel tip works wonderfully to get both thick and thin lines. It is a strong tip and I did not find that it bent at all. Shake first, but be careful not to shake with the tip off! I accidentally got some splatter from that. To get started, pump the tip against the paper. You'll see the pigment move in to the yellow tip. I found that once I did this, I did not need to do it again until I went to use the marker the next day. I store these tip-face-up to keep the paint from pooling in the tip.

Excellent chisel tip glitter gold marker for your dark canvas project. This paint pen has an excellent yellow gold color that shows up very nicely even on dark surfaces. It has some glitter flecks in it, so "treasure chest" truly is a good description! I used this for a fall foliage craft project, and it's the perfect color for that deep golden yellow color that oak leaves turn in the fall; plus the glitter adds a nice shimmer! It looks a bit like Dijon Mustard on white surfaces. The chisel tip works wonderfully to get both thick and thin lines. It is a strong tip and I did not find that it bent at all. Shake first, but be careful not to shake with the tip off! I accidentally got some splatter from that. To get started, pump the tip against the paper. Very deep black that shows up even on black paper! This paint pen has an excellent deep black color that shows up very nicely even on black paper. I was very surprised to see the contrast! I used this for a fall foliage craft project, and it's the perfect color for defining edges against a black background. The chisel tip works wonderfully to get both thick and thin lines. It is a strong tip and I did not find that it bent at all. Shake it first to mix the paint, but be careful not to shake with the tip off as it may splatter! To get started, pump the tip against the paper. You'll see the pigment move in to the yellow tip. I found that once I did this, I did not need to do it again until I went to use the marker the next day. I store these tip-face-up to keep the paint from pooling in the tip.

The COLORSHOT Speeding Ticket Dark Red Acrylic Craft Paint Pen is such a needed paint & craft marker while shopping! Not only is it a superb color, high end quality of product and application, and long lasting - it is a needed item I dont feel like having to go to an arts and crafts store specifically to get! There are so many touch ups needed around our home - and we love red _ so having this is not only great for writing purposes (yard sale signs and crafts, it is perfect for minute touch ups needed on our walls, home decor, and random nic-nacs that have been dropped a time of two!

High pigment. That's what they say on the package. What that means to me is one-and-done. One quick coat from this pen and you have gilt edges on a piece of miniature furniture or lettering highlights on a sign. One thing I was concerned about is whether the pigment would come through the tip well. Have a look at the attached photos, a before and after, showing how just a few pumps brought a large amount to the gold paint to the tip.

These paint markers are great and easy to use.    I like to add some color so I use these markers to paint rocks that I have around the outside of the house and have the grandkids help me.  These are good for doing all kinds of other projects that you want to be permanent. They don't have a paint smell when I've used them.  Make sure to shake them well and prime the tip on a scrap surface before starting your project.  If needed, the tip can be removed to clean and reuse again and the paint dries quickly.  Replace the cap when done and store upright.

This paint marker pen from Colorshot has a 1/4" chisel tip that feels to me as if it were a hard foam. The total length of the pen is 5-3/4" and the diameter is about 5/8". You can write with the narrow part of the tip, the wide part of the tip, or a combination of both. It dries to the touch in 30 minutes and is fully cured in 24 hours. With these types of markers, you need to shake them at first, and then occasionally during use. It releases paint as the tip is pressed down on a hard surface. I pressed 10x to start the flow of paint. I like that this is suitable for glass, wood, metal, plastic, and crafts. The 1.25" tip on this pen is removable and can be cleaned under running water. It worked great on paper without bleeding through as an ink marker does. I tried it on the plastic packaging and it went on smoothly. After curing, I tried to rub the lettering off of the plastic, then I washed and lightly scrubbed with a sponge - it did not rub off. Of course, I could scrape it off with a sharp object, though. I am sure that marking glass will have the same result. This is going to be very helpful for marking my food containers!

When I opened the packet, it didn't start right away. I think that is a good thing. That means, it wasn't leaking already. So, I had to press the tip of the pen a couple times (actually, more than a couple times) to get it started. Once, it was started, you can see the shinny silver lining coming out. I liked it. I see it to be used for card decoration or write name on a gift or card. I would recommend this product, both for kids and adults for decoration use.

This is a great acrylic craft paint pen. With just a couple presses, the ink loads into the tip. It covers well and doesn’t bleed. The tip is removable for cleaning. Our craft group is getting ready for Fall pumpkin painting, so I tried it out on ceramic and a real pumpkin and it worked great. I’m very pleased with this paint pen. It takes about 30 minutes to dry and it stays put.

Real paint in an easy to use marker-pen package. Goes on clean, dries quickly, looks good. This pen handles easily, compared with a small paintbrush. I could make straight lines or curves and put the paint in the exact position I wanted to. Pictures are touching up the numbers on my mailbox. I don't know what this will look like in a year, but I will probably need to touch it up again. This product makes the job easy!

This is the second COLORSHOT paint pen I picked up (the first one was red); I wanted a fancier and ‘lighter’ color so I decided gold would fit that bill. I have used paint pens for years to mark on glass, put ID’s on tools, etc but they have been hard to find but now, with HD carrying them I have easy access to them. The COLORSHOT brand is one I was not familiar with but find them to be of excellent quality. I got this color (gold) for making marks on both glass and on my tools with dark colored backgrounds. Easy to use, it puts a heavy pigmented mark on whatever you want it to, as long as you shake it vigorously and prime it before using it. Using the paint pen the next day provides just as good a marking as does initially (provided you shake the pen well and pump-prime it); however I found with the gold that you have to be very diligent about shaking it often or will come out as a weak yellow (you can see this in the picture below; I think the pigment settles more quickly). It is set up in such a way as to deliver just the right amount of paint, so writing with it is a breeze and the gold is very pleasant to look at. The tip is removable (that surprised me, by the way), so cleaning it if you need to is a snap. The gold REALLY stands out on a dark background, but not so much on light colored ones. The paint dries in about 30 min and cures in 24 hrs, but I found it to be a little faster in the heat wave we are currently experiencing. The marks are resistant to scuffing but I did not find them to be permanent, at least on plastic and glass, in that they can be scraped off, but I do believe marks will be permanent on porous materials, like wood, brick, and fabric. To be fair, the marks are long lasting on glass and plastic, enough for me, and you do have to work at scratching it off (the paint marks do not rub off easily). Overall, I recommend this product; great marking pen for your shop or craft projects; I gave it three stars due to the inconsistency of color but if used correctly it does give great results.

I have used paint pens for years to mark on glass, put ID’s on tools, etc but they have been hard to find unless I made a special trip to the craft store, and even then the colors have been lacking. I received the Colorshot Premium Paint Markers today I ordered these for an upcoming craft project where I will be painting on a glass vase. I ordered the colors Treasue Chest (gold), Silver Lining (silver), Little Black Dress (black) and Speeding Ticket ( kind of a maroon red). The one I tested was speeding ticket. I wanted to see one - the coverage and two - are they permanent. I used glass and ceramic. You can make the color darker and less opaque by going over what your doing a few times. The paints are not permanent on glass or ceramic, I was able to clean it off the both surfaces 5 hours after I applied it. I can not say if they would be permanent on wood, metal or plastic. The applicator tip is on a diagonal that is going to work well for my use but would be challenging if you wanted to have some fine lines on your project. They were easy to use, good directions and I would recommend it them keeping the above in mind.

I needed something to refresh the numbers on my garbage cans. Originally I had used a silver permanent marker, but after years of weather and garbage trucks doing their number on these can, it needed to be refreshed. I tried to go over it with the same permanent marker, but it wasn't visible enough, and sometimes a neighbor would get our cans mixed up. We all put them in a line on one side of the street. This pen is great! You can visibily see the numbers. You can use the pen tip for a smaller line or sideway for a broader line.

Most durable on aluminum why discontinue
Rust Oleum is easy to peel off like flakes, created lots of paint dust. Colorshot is a much better product to stick on aluminum. But they don't have pure bleak and why they discontinue it?
