Good heater. 1st one wore out after 9 years so just bought the guts. Nice to not have to buy the complete unit since the housing and grille were already installed and in good shape. Bit pricey but you get what you pay for!
Using this heater in outside shed where temps go down below 32 deg. After discovering heater on full blast a couple of times with temps up around 80 deg inside shed, I now turn the heater on and off at the breaker panel. What can I do to get a fully functional thermostat? without an electrician?
Good value, Heats up quickly
The unit that I purchased was to replace a 22 year old cadet heater that had many years and hours on it. Contacting the customer service dept. I was able to find an exact match replacement heater. All is well! I highly recomment this product.
Made in USA, Heats up quickly, Well built, Easy to install, Customer support, Durable, Quiet
I'm on my third forced air heater - the one that came with the house, and this is the second replacement. After a while an electrical component overheats, fails, and then puts out a strong electrical smell - so, time to replace it.
Seems like the average life is about 15 years, which really isn't that bad.
Easy to Use, Easy to Install, Easy to Work With, Good Size & Weight, Reliable
I bought two and one of them doesn't even work, the thermostat has a very narrow functional range and turns of after about 1 - 2 minutes with out heating much.
I do like the heater, but feel thay need to be tested beter before selling them.
These units have been in my bathrooms for supplemental heat since the house was built (1986) - not bad - original lasted over 25 years (and the other two still work fine!) I had a heating element finally go in one and replaced the entire unit. It was very easy.
