Can I love a heater???? Well I do. Cost a fortune to run the power but my workout room in my garage doesn’t skip a beat in our Chicago winter.

This is a great little heater. It warms my two car garage up in about 20 minutes on a frosty day. I have a garage gym. When I say warm it up, I mean that I can work up a sweat and even take my shirt off! My only suggestion is that they could have put numbers on the thermostat. It would be nice to just turn it to "65" and walk away. Be prepared, it uses a ton of electricity! My house runs on solar and a battery so I don't mind. But it may definitely have an impact on your utility bill.

Plug and play out of the box. Remember, you need the 220-240 electrical outlet. Heated my insulated 2 car garage in about 30 minutes to a comfortable 70 degrees when it was 30 degrees outside. I would like to see it have a handle on the top so you can move it around easier. But it's not too heavy so not a big issue. This is a great option if you don't want to run a gas line to your garage or if you want to transport it to different areas. Very easy to use.

I bought this Cadet The Hot One heater online. It was delivered quickly and was free of any damage.
Installed easily - solid construction.
It heated my garage very quickly to the mid 60's on a day where the outside temp was 1 degree.
Solid heater, quality build and made in the USA.

Guzzles insane amounts of electricity
installed this in a Michigan garage during a period of time where the temperatures ranged from 10-20 degrees Farenheit. within the 1st day of use the space heater consumed over 30kwh of electricity. will be returning asap

In times of extreme cold, it's possible that this heater would run continuously. As this is a 5Kw heater, after 6 hours it will have consumed 30Kwh of power.

Once you get the 220 outlet set up, things work as advertised. A quiet fan, and it warms things up. I'm not sure it would work for a large garage, but it brings the heat up. I'm in a tent within a greenhouse, and we will see how it fares in the freezing weather. The casing doesn't get hot, or even warm as far as I can tell. There are a lot of products out there, but this one seems to do the job.

The heater was easy to install and puts out a lot of heat. The thermostat also seems to do a great job with controlling the temperature in my garage. Overall it heats like it should, it's relatively quiet, and I'm happy with it.

Awesome heater. Have a 20x20 foot garage and raised ceilings at about 15'. With it 30' outside, at least brings the garage up from high 40s to the 60s. Haven't experimented with it enough yet. In the process of adding some garage door and crawl space door insulation, then I think it will get to house room temperature. Also think a ceiling fan would help me since I think a lot of the heat is up there.
Install can be a pain depending on where you have to run your wire. I ran 10-2 wire about 75 feet with one double pole switch at our house entrance door (Leviton 30 Amp Industrial Double Pole Switch), so that was a little painful but added some nice convenience. Mounted the unit on the wall above a work bench.

This little heater really does the job. I have a 2 car garage that I recently insulated and put drywall up and wanted to bring the temperature up a bit so I can do work and also keep the car warm in the winter. I've only used it for about a week and I keep turning it down. With the thermostat about 1/3 of the way, I've been able to keep it over 50. Not really necessary for it to be that warm, but nice to be in a t-shirt in my garage, when it's 19 outside.

Installed in a 3-car garage to keep workshop area & water heater warm during colder winter. I had a local electrician installed the 220v/30 amp outlet above the existing power panel. Because the mounting bracket is short of the standard 16-inch spacing of wall studs, I first mounted a 1x10, 20-inch length board with 1/4x2-inch lag screws & flat washers. The mounting bracket fit between these four (4) lag screws and I secured it with three (3) additional 1/4x2-inch lag screws & flat washers in the provided mounting holes. On the first day of use with the outside temperature at 40 degrees, this garage heater easily brought the garage temperature up to 70+ degrees!
