We had a couple of cracked tiles and it wasn’t worth replacing. Number one reason is that we couldn’t find a replacement tile and one of my friends suggested using this product. This product is very easy to use and it came out almost perfect on the color match. As you can see you couldn’t even see the cracks any longer.

Works great on both Gloss Tile & Matte Grout! But the included Brush is crap. Apply with a thinner & softer Synthetic brush to do a cleaner job. FYI- color does not lighten after drying. Be sure to work Light to Dark to spare product. Be sure to vacuum & mop surface before application.

I just saved $10,000 on all new tile! We have a very open concept and only the kitchen cooking area had chips in the tile but would have had to do the entire living space. After much trial, error and research I ordered this product online, picked up in store. Color matching was fairly easy....entire job took maybe 30 minutes, including reading directions. You cannot see where the chipping was at all. Took an after pic, but there is nothing to show. Very pleased!

Fixed the nicks
To start out, I am not an artist and I am not good at matching colors or projects like this. But, I took this on because I am also not a lover of the type of bathroom and utility room floors I had installed. Plus, they had some defects that just added to my dislike. So, I followed the directions best I could and applied the filler. The photos below show my work. Since my floors are multicolored to start, the fact that the filler turns out darker than when applied didn't matter too much. The bathroom had a strange white already repaired spot in it that just stuck out like a sore thumb. The utility room tile had black pock marks on it. I'm please with the outcome, although I think products like this need much more practice than I had. But, I think with practice, it could make a big difference in an otherwise unpleasant damaged looking floor. I think this product has promise and someone with a bit more artistic expression than I have could to a much better job. If I had any complaints at all it would be that the colors are hard to match and turn out darker than when applied, and there weren't enough mixing tools for future use. So, if you have a solid color floor or counter, it would be difficult to match without a lot of struggle. I didn't, so it worked for me.

Hard to Match
Before using this on an actual damaged tile in the bathroom, I experimented with a spare piece of tile that had two holes drilled all the way through. The instructions are clear, and the materials are easy to use. Matching the color is a challenge, and I'll have to keep trying to get it right. My particular tile has gray and brown tints, with a slight hint of yellow. After mixing the color that more closely matched my tile, I applied the mixture, which seemed pretty close. When it dried, it was much darker, as was stated in the directions. The putty hardens nicely, but the color? I'll keep trying to match it.

Color hard to match. Try to match based on hue rather than depth of color compared to the provided color chart. You can lighten it by adding a bit more repair putty or darken by adding a tiny bit more of colorant. Prep the colorant in the provided bowl. I recommend mixing the colorant with the repair putty on a spare tile. Overall the instructions including the very short video are lacking. In order to play with matching the color, one needs more repair putty. Since that costs very little, I recommend that the company provide more in the kit. That being said, the kit has the potential of being more useful and valuable to consumers.
