Easy to assemble and very easy to use. This is my first pellet grill and i love it!

Constant flame outs, 50+ degree temperature swings, clouds of thick smoke. I've only used this grill a few times and nothing but problems. I'm using the camp chef pellets that came with the grill.

I have had my Woodwind SG24 with Sear Box for 9 months and it has been spectacular. I have used it for ribs, brisket, pork butt, bugers you name it and it always produces fabulous results. I have seen some comments about it not producing a lot of smoke and that it is hard to get a smoke rings or flavor. I have not had any problem with that! The ribs I cooked last week came out looking and tasting like competition level ribs. This is so easy to use and produces a great meal, I would never consider grilling on anything else. The grill works as advertised, is easy to use and clean. I really appreciate the ease of emptying the ashes from the firebox.

Poor quality product. It stopped working after 15 months of moderate use (1-2 times per week). It took Camp Chef 5 weeks to get me the correct parts to fix it. Poor product and poor customer service.

The grill was simple to build. Cooks great be sure to get the side kick for quick grilling

I got mine 2 months ago and it is great for cooking. My wife loves as much as I do. Only thing would be better is a way to increase smoke.

Smoked a brisket. Worked great. Keeps constant temperature very well.

Years ago one of my friends advised I should buy a pellet smoker. 10 years later I was in need of another new "grill" but I also wanted a smoker. I knew that if I bought a propane grill and propane smoker I wouldn't use the smoker because of constantly adding wood chips. I saw a Facebook ad for Camp Chef and through wow this would be a great grill if it does what they show in the videos. After some research and studying on the competition I decided to get the SG24 with the side grill. I wanted the option of trowing some burgers & dogs on the grill without firing up the pellet side. I can honestly say I love this product overall and kick myself in the tail for not getting something years ago. I have had the product for 2 months now and smoked whole chicken, chicken wings, salmon, ribs, chicken quarters, pizza, pork shoulder, jerky and more. Pro's: Easy to use, simple understanding of the controls, great option with two temp probes, excellent option for direct/indirect cooking, clean out is very easy. Con's: Main grill box can have in excess of 10 degree temperature swings - if you have the temp set at 250 you can walk out and the temp is reading 275 and then slowly drops to 225. This may be due to me cooking in the winter without a blanket as well slightly. But it happened last weekend when we had 50 degree temp here in PA. Material thickness on lid of grill and sear box and hinges could be beefed up. Things I would like to see offered: Different grill grates for bottom of grill section that I could purchase in SS or cast iron, a cabinet shroud for below grill. Overall I would highly recommend this grill for the novice or intermediate griller that wants to get into smoking but still wants the ability to bake, grill and sear.

Easy to use with great results! Already smoked steaks, prime ribs & briskets. Sear box grills veggies quick! There is a great difference between my masterbuilt & the woodwind! Your family will say, "You da man!"

I must have been a good boy this year cause Santa left a new Woodwind with sear box under my tree. I fired it up and did a brisket flat to get the feel of it and WOW, what a difference it made over my previous electric smoker. Excellent smoke without having to feed chips all the time. Held the temperature well, and the results were great, moist and tender, my only regret is that I should have bought a bigger brisket. Clean up was a breeze. Ready to do a tenderloin for New Years Eve dinner. I have a lot a Camp Chef gear that I use with the RV to include the pizza oven (grand kids love make your own pizza), and their durability and design made the Woodwind decision a no brainer. So far no regrets.

After smoking with charcoal for years and having to babysit it due to heat loss, I was looking for something that was a bit more hands off. After learning about wood pellet grills, I was a click away from buying a Traeger before a friend told me about Camp Chef. After doing my research and comparing the two, I ended up buying this Camp Chef grill and have been very happy with my choice. Not only is it stylish, but it also cooks everything perfect and meat comes out tender and juicy. Compared to charcoal, cleanup is relatively easy and doesn't take long. All the internal components easily come out so I can wipe everything down. This product is well designed and something I'll have for many years to come.

I bought the woodwind a couple weeks ago, I couldn't be more satisfied and impressed with this grill! the sear box is a difference maker. I had a minor problem in the beginning due to shipping but it was resolved very quickly. Amazing support staff.

I thought my box store offset smoker was on its way to the dump. I like a good strong smoke flavor in my meats and pellet grills don't come close. Tried every trick I could come up with to get more smoke in my meats and nothing really works. After a month of trying and failing, went back to the offset smoker. Now in fairness, this pellet (grill) is a great outdoor oven which will give you great food which taste just like it came out of your kitchen oven. Great oven, terrible smoker. Really thought I had done my research before buying this unit and really belived the marketing and reviews. Wrong.

This is the best grill I’ve ever owned. I’m 1 month in and couldn’t be happier. Temperatures hold true, and meat is perfect. Should have bought one years ago.

I’ve had my Woodwind for six months. I bought it with a sear box. I have a nice offset smoker also. I also use two sizes of Weber grills. The Woodwind is incredible! Using the two smoke settings insures perfect heat and smoke control. The probes keep the temperature where you want it. I used it on a “high smoke” setting with cherry wood pellets.to cook Thanksgiving Turkey. Best turkey I’ve ever cooked and, at 74 years old, I’ve cooked a lot of birds! The color, the consistent internal turkey temperature, the wonderful smoked flavor. It’s the best smoker I’ve ever cooked on!

My Woodwind SG with Sear Box arrived today. It's very well built and will last a long time. It was easy to assemble and only took about an hour. The tank holder is a very nice touch to hold the LP tank, instead of it sitting on the ground or the bottom shelf.The cover I ordered is also very nice and easy to put on the grill. It even covers the LP tank. I plan on ordering the front shelf soon and then the Patio Cart with Bamboo Cutting Board. Camp Chef is great stuff.

Easy to assemble, only issue is I am currently waiting on a part from Camp Chef’s warranty department to actually use the grill. That said, they have awesome customer service. Can’t wait to use it!

I bought one about 6 months and was impressed with the construction, well made. I'm also really impressed with their support dept. which is totally outstanding and with wonderful support. So much so that I orederd another and shipped it to Central America. I'm also buying 2 more for family gifts.

Our grill has been grea! We use it a couple of times a week to make meals ahead. We have the woodwind with the seat box but really don’t need it...the grill gets hot enough to do anything! No disappointment s with our grill but I will say Traeger has better receipes.

Excellent grill. I had researched many, and the Woodwind seemed the best in my opinion for it's price range. Have cooked on it daily for a week now, and it doesn't disappoint. Well built, and operates as intended. Excellent smoke production, easy on pellets, and easy to clean up . The sear box is great as well . Made in the USA.
