I used it around a bath tub. There's a step with metal edging going around it. And a sharp edge around the top of the tub platform. (Garden tub in a modular home). My wife has some medical issues that can cause her to fall. This was the perfect solution for her so she doesn't get hurt if she falls. Went on easy, easy to cut to go around corners and curves. And as a sidenote it helps to keep the water off the floor.

Order four, but got only one. And this happened not once, but twice. We needed this baby proofing item immediately for safety, but due to this mistake (twice), we got it done two weeks later.
