I do not like the long inseam. Used to be able to get them in 8 inch inseam. I have 5 older pairs of the 8 inch inseam. They are getting worn after 2-3 years of hard use. I will try to hem these up. Everything else is still good, just too long

I just love Carhartt canvas work shorts! The fit and feel is outstanding.

They are okay but no substitute for the real deal.

Great appearance and fit, Wouldn't mind if there were more of a cargo pocket.

These Carhartt work shorts are my go-to work shorts. I like the look of them, and the durability and functionality are just what I like, including the small pocket on the leg which I use for my cell phone. So, when I needed to get more work shorts, it was a no-brainer to get the same Carhartt shorts.

I’m originally from Detroit. I’ve been in construction for over 25 years. Carhartt has always been my goto gear. Design, durability, and warmth when needed... 2nd to none. I love my shorts. I purchased 4 pair, 2 for work and 2 for casual (casual work shorts). I highly recommend

I ordered 2 pair, one pair fit fine the other pair was too small. i ordered size 38 and the pair that I couldn't button looked like size 36. I ended up giving them away. In the past I have worn B25 the new number is B147 these feel much thinner, I much prefer the heavier weight material. Very disappointing I will not be ordering any more of this item. All the other Carhartt items I have vests and jackets I love.

These seem to be small in the waist, what happened to the 81/2 inseam?

My husband loves his Carhartt's. He has been wearing Carhartt for over 20 years.

By far the best shorts I have ever owned. Super comfortable and durable.

Too little in waist, too big everywhere else. Didn’t realize they were loose fit. I have other CARHARTT shorts in regular fit that are good.

Very poor replacement for the original canvas work short. Poor fit. Inseam too long. Tool loops and pockets missing. Fabric not heavy duty like the original canvas work shorts.

Too long for my taste. The length is a bit below my knees. I can't stand shorts that are past my knees! Material seems pretty durable. I only wore them once so far. I wish manufacturers would design more for function than fashion. When you are constantly bending and squatting the length of these shorts will eventually keep rubbing around your knees. Very annoying!

Both of my pairs are smaller in the waist than the long version of the pants

These are disappointing compared to the traditional B25 model. Cloth alot thinner, fit not as good.

I love them. Fit like they should. Great addition to my summer shorts.

The fit is true to size and the Carhart quality is the usual well made and long lasting.

I've bought these shorts for years and never had a complaint. But since you've discontinued the 8" shorts and lightened the material (They now feel thin as a handkerchief.) I must start looking elsewhere for work shorts. I did buy a couple of pair before I knew this however, and spent 25.00 on alterations. Not a bargain at that price.

I really like these shorts. There are verry durable. I thought they would shrink but they have been true to size after 15 wash and drys so far.

These are *fantastic* shorts--look, comfort, fit, durability. IF CARHARTT IS GOING TO STOP PRODUCING THEM IN FAVOR OF THAT STRETCHY JUNK, I'M OUTA HERE!

Prefer the old, shorter length. Great shorts, but a little too long for us short-legged people.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im a huge fan of these shorts. I own like 8 pair that i wear at home and work. I really like the side pocket for my cell phone and the pocket on the left thigh for my air pods case. Very sturdy and comfortable shorts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice shorts. Very good quality. Fabric is rugged but not as heavy as the "duck" fabric. Phone pocket is the best. My iPhone w Otterbox protector fits perfectly. Also a pocket for my folding ruler. My personal preference is a slotted pocket in the back vs the jean/dungaree pocket. Carharrt used to offer but discontinued.

I love these shorts. Very comfortable to wear while working.
