this is a cheap cabinet set. you have to assemble it and the directions are not helpful. the top comes packed on the bottom and was damaged because there is no cushion just the cardboard it comes in. two of the trim pieces were broke. I glued them back together. it say that there is 4 locking casters, but comes with 2 locking and 2 non-locking. doors are a pin style hinge so you can't adjust them. stay away from this product

This piece took my husband and I 5 hours to assemble and it was well worth it. The instructions were easy to follow. No issues whatsoever. There are extra screws, so don't be alarmed that you did something wrong. Our kitchen island is a stunning addition to our dinette. We roll it into the kitchen for extra counter prep space and use it in the dining area for food service. There is a tremendous amount of storage. Beautiful piece. LOVE IT!

This island is beautiful! Took about 3.5 hours to set up but everything worked perfectly. It's very solid construction. And again - this thing looks great. It's really going to class up our kitchen!

My husband was able to put this cart together without help in a couple hours with no bad words. We can fit all of our pots and pans underneath and the drawer accommodates all of our utensils. It is the perfect size for our kitchen and matches our maple cabinets quite well. The top is very handy for all of our baking/cooking needs. It is sturdy and well-made. Even my award-winning furniture-designing brother-in-law was impressed. Moreover, the price cannot be beat. Our kitchen looks so much better now without the clutter of pans on top of cabinets.

The quality is not commensurate with the price. The sides are veneer over particleboard. One side had split when it arrived and I had to order a new one. They have very limited, East Coast hours, although customer service was helpful. It was very difficult to put together. The drawer glides didn’t glide well. They sent new ones but they still don’t glide well. We had to do some sanding to get the drawer to open and close more easily. The top didn’t feel like it had been given a finish sanding. I wouldn’t order it again.

Well built we love it

Excellent addition to our kitchen. Good quality. The sides are pressed board covered with veneer. Everything else is solid wood. Took about 4 hours to assemble at a leisurely pace. Watch the video and follow the printed directions and assembly is easy. I had a broken door and customer service shipped a replacement the same day. They were also very helpful in explaining a question I had on the drawer assembly.

This is a decently sturdy and spacious island. We spent, as many reviews we read were warning, about 4-5 hours assembling the whole thing. We felt like the written instructions and those also available on the website, were frustratingly not specific enough. Some of the pre-drilled pilot holes were also inaccurately placed, and so we were forced to drill our own. Even IKEA, for all its own faults, is more user-assembly-friendly.

Great cabinet. The casters are heavy duty and turn easily. You will need to watch the videos to help with construction.

Beautiful kitchen island! With limited experience it took me about 3 hours on my own to put together. Was also missing 5/8” screws so I had to purchase but the worth the effort.

It's beautiful! Everything we wanted. Very good quality piece. We still look at it in our kitchen and cant get over how nice it looks. Added much needed cabinet space for our insta pot, croc pot, cutting boards and sheet trays. I purchased a wood conditioner since the product doesn't seem to be sealed. It was very thirsty and absorbs the conditioner. I plan on having this piece for a very long time and continue to add the conditioner every couple of weeks till it no longer absorbs and creates a nice seal against stains and water marks.

It was pretty...took 8+hours to assemble. Not all the screw were in the package, not all the holes lined up. The drawer would not fit in. The manufacturer did replace the drawer with a slightly smaller one. The first time I rolled it, one caster broke away from the support. That as the side that the pegs for the door went in.. There was no fixing it.

I am super pleased with this cabinet. Don't be swayed by some reviews concerning parts. All you do, per instructions, is call Catskill. The folks as Catskill were very courteous and right on it!! Great customer service!! They had the parts here in 2 days. It is beautiful in my little kitchen, I am now using it as a kitchen table also extra storage for quilting supplies. It was easy to put together (a lady). I have had it a few weeks.

It took my husband and I about 6 hours to assemble this, but it is worth it. Just what I needed in my small kitchen to extend counter and storage space.

I purchased the 25th and had it delivered. Nothing was labeled so I had to hire a handyman to come assist with the assembly when the handyman arrived he went through 8t and noticed that they did not provide the correct hardware for the assembly. The screws were too short and not wide enough or they were too long. I had to pay for a service call and now I have to pay for the right hardware in order to assemble the island. Never buying from Home depot again I called for assistance the said they couldn't mark down the item then after asking for the manager they said they could mark down for 10% and that was not satisfactorily for me luckily after requesting a manager they were able to refund me close to 200$.

Is very pretty. Perfect for my small kitchen!!

The Big Island 30 inch is absolutely perfect for what I needed in our kitchen. I am thrilled with it. The shelf storage are is very adequate, and the large drawer is wonderful. I cannot say enough good things about this purchase. Thank you for the craftsmanship in designing and preparing this unit for assembly.

The island was harder to assemble than explained. I still haven’t got the bottom shelve in. There is no place to fasten it. If I knew what I know now I would never have bought it. Instead of 3 hours how about 8 instead to buy it together. Considering how expensive It was needed to be put toge

Was not what I expected for the money, did not like the finish and the pieces were not labeled very bad instructions to know what bolts went where I did not even bother trying to put it together I returned it. And will never purchase anything from this manufacturer again.

The Big Island is a great design,well thought out.It takes a few hours to assemble.The instructions are very easy to follow.I like the doors on front and back to access pots and pans etc.I put a Wolf Oven on ours to clear up counterspace in the kitchen.

Great product. Just what we were looking for. Easy assembly and very good looking piece. One door was incorrect, I called and they sent out a new door the next day. Great customer service!!! Very satisfied with this purchase.

Very nice looking and good quality. Did have to get a replacement top from manufacturer due to damage upon receipt. No hassle with replacement! Received new one within a week. We did use danish oil on all pieces except top, which we used butcher block oil on. Wood looks beautiful. Was fairly easy to assemble and looks really nice in our kitchen. Have only had a few weeks, but love it.

Beautiful wood. Needed to replace drawer facing. Company was extremely helpful and prompt replacing part. I would just suggest more over all sanding, but other than that I love it!

Looks good once assembled but missing and broken parts took 2 weeks to get from the supplier and the wheels drop out anytime it is lifted up making it difficult to move though as long as you don't have to pick it up all works as it should.

I absolutely love this kitchen island. It is a beautiful piece of furniture. It is a quality produce. The wood is beautiful and I love the butcher block top. The size is perfect for my kitchen. After staining the wood, it looks as if it were made to match my current cabinets. I is extremely handy to have double doors on both sides of the cabinet. It allows you to access items from both the back and the front of the cabinet. I can't say enough good things about this cabinet. I highly recommend it as a well-made, functional piece that would be a great addition to your kitchen.
