Been welding for 40 years
Like the title says I've been welding for over 40 years. With that said this little welder isn't going to weld like a $1000 welder and it shouldn't for less than $300. However this little buzz box does one heck of a job on sheet metal repairs if you take your time. For the money, the size and the portability this little welder is unbeatable for what it's capable of. I'd honestly have to say anyone who's given this thing a bad review most likely doesn't have a clue what welding involves.

    First Time Welding
Not a welder by any means, but I really like how this machine is working so far. I upgraded to a bigger clamp. Not saying the one it comes with did not work, but plenty of videos I saw recommended a better ground clamp.

My first wire feed welder and I'm amazed.
This little welder is ideal for a DIY beginner. Easy to set up and get started for simple and more involved welding jobs. With a bit of practice and some skills fine-tuning, I believe anyone can master this little gem. I used it to remanufacture our old hay trailer into a box trailer using some channel iron and a few old steel bedframes. This welder is impressive for its size and portability. I highly recommend it to hobbyists and DIY enthusiasts.

Best welder I’ve owned, and im a professional
For 250 bucks, that welders brought me in close to 30k in about 3 months. Hands down the best welder I’ve ever owned for how cheap it was. Bought it because I needed to do a quick repair and forgot to bring my welder lol. The welder worked out great for the small repairs I do, it does even better for the larger projects I do. I’ve welded and passed a certified weld on 1/4” with this welder. The welder is so much more useful than a gas mug welder and weighs roughly 10 pounds. I will buy again

A nice, easy to use, little unit for DIY people
I haven't done any welding since high school and this was very easy to set up and use. It's light and very portable. I'd recommended this as a first time welder's or a DIY homeowner's starting machine any day. I have two gripes with it, though. One: the grounding clamp is barely big enough to clamp on 1" tubing (which is okay. As they're easily replaced). And two: the wire spool clip is a bit finicky. You have to make sure it actually clicks in or it will cause your wire to go.. haywire. That might just be user error, but its something to look out for if this is your first welder.

        I’m wow’d
I bought this welder to make some side steps on my custom micro/tear drop camper build. I was hesitant at first if this would do the job but for the price I figured I’d give it a shot. This welder put down some nice beads for being the size of a big shoe box and running on 110v. I have previous experience running MIG with gas and the only major difference I noticed was a good deal of spatter but not too bad. I weigh 200 lbs and I jumped up and down on the side steps and the welds felt solid as a rock. Can’t wait to do more projects with this machine.

            Best! Flux core welder!
I've owned mine for almost two years and put A Lot of flux through this little guy. It will weld 1/4' with clean surface and good ground. DC current makes for less splatter compared to AC. Great for welding in garage or tight spaces. Sucks the flux is limited in size of spool but great welder. Slag Peel all day. like an inch worm.

https://youtu.be/uxFfwIhH72M This is an awesome welder. I love the size, only 15 lbs. Welds great can easily do 3/16". 1/4" would take a couple passes. I'll be keeping this guy around just because it is so easy to throw in the truck and help a friend! Only complaint would be is it doesn't come with any wire or accessories. If you want to see it in action check out my review on Youtube!

I am very impressed by that Century FC-90. It can weld a lot thicker than ¼” steel. Actually, I don’t know if there is really any limit to the thickness it will weld. Honestly, aside from the spatter from the flux cored wire it is fully as good as a $700 Lincoln mig. I will say that the feed rollers on this unit suck balls. One of them is plastic and the knurling on the metal one is barely there. I plan to buy spare rollers and tensioners because I fully expect those to break. Also, that tiny little spool is a beotch to setup. When you get it new, you remove the plastic from the spool and then the wire wants to spring off and make a tangled ball of shickt. That cost me about 30 feet of wire. And then I had several revolutions of wire on the spool that weren’t perfect, which made it resist feeding. Combined with the chincy little rollers I had no fun for the first couple hours. I cranked up the tensioner as far as it seems I could without breaking it. Eventually, I realized what the issues were and pulled out another 20 feet of wire until I got down to perfectly spooled wire. Then I backed off the tensioner so that the rollers and tensioner wouldn’t break. Since then it has worked flawlessly. Obviously, now that I know that, I will use extreme care when loading the next spool. I think I’m using a 20amp circuit, could be 15, but it hasn’t been an issue at all. The thing that really makes this unit a big value is the continuously variable dual wire/current controls. No other unit has that for anywhere near this price. In my picture you will see quite a bit of spatter. I will say that it spatters a lot less if you tune the settings better. In my picture the lower piece of steel is 5/16" and the upper piece is 1/8" tube. Both mild clean steel. Welding thick to thin makes it tough to tune the settings because it will be too cold on the thick or too hot on the thin. So you have to go hot and aim more toward the thick. That angle and the extra heat makes for a spatter fest. I have also welded 20 gauge to 20 gauge with this already. That was a little fiddly and I fought porosity, but it did work, and there was hardly ANY spatter.

                    century 90amp welder
I weld for a living. Stick and tig primarily. I do side work aroumd the house building smokers and fire pits. I get tired of stringing leads out from my truck and having to roll everything back up. Bought this little suitcase and so far for the doller ive had no complaints. For a fluxcore it runs great and actually lays a clean bead. Well worth the $170 I paid for it

The product I purchased is excellent and works the way it should. The customer service was awful it took almost a month to get it and I had to call twice to get it to finally be delivered to the store. I needed it when I needed it not a month later and the delay cost my business money in lost revenue and time.

Love the product does what we expected it to do.just when something breaks you cannot get replacement parts in store. The extended warranty is not worth it what we had break was not covered under that so not worth it.

                        All you need for home
First off, like alot of other reviewers, I have done plenty of stick and wire with high $$ machines at the steel mill and I will say this is a great welder for the money and does more than it says it does. You could easily weld 1/2” if you beveled it. I ran with 12-3 25ft ext cord on 15 amp 120v without an issue.
