I was able program both buttons to a Liftmaster Security receiver with a “smart actuator”. The opener did NOT have a learn button or remote so the previous owner installed the Liftmaster receiver which also is very old! About 14 “presses” during programming worked. We also have another remote that’s similar to this model but it does not say “clicker” and it has dip switches
I purchased this because it supports DIP switches. The one I bought had the spot for the DIP switches but they were missing altogether, just bare circuit board in that spot. Returned it and looked at two more and none of them had DIP switches. Why do the instructions talk about DIP switches on this model when they appear to have been eliminated?

We are sorry to see that this product did not meet your expectations. The Chamberlain Clickers no longer support the dip switch technology. However, the 380UT is a Chamberlain equivalent that does. Should you need technical support in the future, please email social@chamberlain.com. We are happy to help!

I purchased this remote because it was supposed to support DIP switch openers including Linear Multi-Code gate openers. The instructions state that this remote has DIP switches and can be used with many models of openers that use DIP switches. However, the one I bought did not have dip switches. Instead it has the opening and numbering for them but all you can see is the circuit board. The DIP switches are missing altogether. I exchanged it for another one and that one was missing the DIP switches as well. If Chamberlain has eliminated the DIP switches, the instructions should also be updated to not show them.
If it does not set up with the instructions it comes with for the dip switches go to the video it recommends but click on the manuel on page 7 or 8 it will walk you through another way to set up. If that fails like it did for me go to page 9-11 and follow those. This worked for me finally
This unit is used for the gate at a small gated community. This remote is easily programmable to the gate, and then to the homeowners garage door opener.
