Just used it for three days during massive storm that took out power. Used propane only. After the first three 20lb bottles I hooked up 40lb and put it about 18" from the muffler to keep the bottle warm. Make sure you are far from occupied dwellings if you do this or CO can deflect back, this happed while it was partially inside my detached garage (muffler pointed out) and generator safety feature shut it down.

Easy to setup. Really good performances. It does gives power to almost every little component of the house like bulb light, wifi, tv and even more. I am really happy with my purchase. I would definitely buy it again. And oh , the electric starter, thats a most !

Easy set up out from the box! Very compact and easily move from my garage to my backyard where my set up can connect to power my house. Easy quick start no hassle. I use gasoline and Propane

Due to fires and high winds we've been without power several times. This generator runs great! Have a heater and fridge running on it and it's a life saver!

Needed a big generator to power whole house. The power goes out about 4 to 5 times a year and it may last up to a week. Went to my local Tractor Supply and bought this one. Super easy to assemble and get running! I run the whole house with few exceptions. Only one small thing is that it is pretty loud. I face the exhaust away from neighbors and no big deal. So all in all this generator is a beast and it runs on propane too which i didnt try yet. VERY happy with this generator! I have 35 hours on it so far and no problems.

Very straight forward set up. Electric start makes it was for everyone in my house start. Can run the majority of my house with this generator when the power goes out.

This is the second Champion generator that I have bought in my life. Use them to power up the house, and my dog kennel during power outages, Always starts on the first or second pull. Very well-made, and very dependable!

i use this for my house when the power goes out. i like how this has a 50amp plug and i can use both gas and propane being i have a 500 gallon tank next to my house. i really done have anything bad to say about this other that it is a little noisy but not an issue for me being i can not hear it in the house due to where my power hook up is.

I already have a smaller Champion generator, which does great during power outages. However, with a storm about to hit that will affect my farm animals too, I needed to use the smaller one for them and get a larger one for the house. This fits the bill as it has enough power to power the things we need, like fridge, freezer, heat, lights, cooking. We don't need the whole house powered, just the essentials for a few days and 8000 watts is going to work for us just fine.

Easy to assemble, easy to start. This is our second champion generator. Upgraded to a larger one. Love them. Definitely buying Champion for LIFE!

I got the generator to power up my house when the main power goes out. When the main power goes out all i have to do is start up the generator and plug it into my outlet and away we go.

So far so good. Extremely easy setup, although it is quite a heavy machine, once setup the handle and wheels make it simple to move around. I did test it on a small heater and it worked great. Hope I dont have to use it at all but I feel confident that it will do what it's suppose to if needed

We champion generator and used it and had no troubles, powered everything we needed started ever time with now issues was easy on gas assembly was easy and the mobility is awesome too I would buy more champion products in the future

Excellent for home use or job use. This is a great Generator!!!! Would recommend this generator to anyone lookind for a job sote or portable home generator! Starts right up and has the power to get almost anything done!

It's loud. But it works. I use it as a back up for my entire house and am able to run everything from my water pump to appliances. The dual fuel makes it nice for optional fuel storage.

This generator was easy to set up. Instructions for getting it started were great. I used it to keep 2 blowers going on a large bounce house, and run an extension cords to power Christmas lights, crockpots, cotton candy machine, and a percolator. I used it for about 12 hours, and the gas container holds a lot of gas. I highly recommend this generator.

This generator works excellent I live in Mission, B.C And the power can go out quite frequently due to the winds and Rains The trees are large and the power lines can go done for days Also it's going to take camping

Family has used champion products. Bought this generator from tractor supply. It was missing funnel and oil from box. Had to change the spark plug. Added gas, tried electric start. Did not start. Tried pull start, did not start. Everything is connected. Checked air filter, big hole in air filter. The generator was sending flames into the air box, melted plastic and air filter. Customer support supposed to be 24/7, was on phone for 2 hours and still did not get an answer. Emailed, said 2 day response, nothing after 3 days. We want our money back and/or a new working generator.

It is a fantastic product. I like the dual fuel system, so I have more options; it is straightforward and can power the entire house. The only slight issue, like any portable generator, is that it's a little bit loud, so I'm getting a soundproof box to fix this issue.

Use the generator when electricity get down. Very powerfull and easy to get it works. I connected it in my main panel. Great stuff

Our electricity went out and I had two Honda generators connected together, which gave about 3500 Watts I couldn't get one of the generators to start so I went to tractor supply and bought this champion 8000 W generator it served us well, ran everything in our RV that needed to be ran. Also used 2 of the 110 plugs also to run outdoor fan.
