Forst off, my area gets a lot of power outages. I chose this generator because it does gas or LP. I used LP and it ran through the night, no problems, and not very loud at all! It ran what we needed it to, with NO problems! Highly recommend generator

Luv that it is dual fuel I can pick it up with one arm> The CO sensor is a plus also and prallel capable with electronic Protection it is Hard to Beat !

As I opened the product, I didnt realize that it is a dual power. All I want is to avert a flooding in my basement yet the propane fuel option works a lot convenient as I have observed. Anyways my grill still had left over propaned and I used it. So I opened the box filled up the unit with oil, got the propane kit connector hooked it up, turned the knob to choke, pulled the cil start few times then set the knob to Propane then stated with ease. The unit ran for an hour. Loaded with sump pump and my internet modem. It works perfect for my need. Safer since I do not need to store Gasoline in my garage.

I loved this product a lot and really want to thank you Champion for saving my day from disaster because of this generator I have power in my house which I lost from thunderstorm.

I just bought this new 1850 generator for my cabin cause its lighter than the one I have there now which is also a Champion 4000 w cause they are reliable like the Champion 4500 lb wench I also have..would not buy anything else. Rodney

I will use for the hurricane and storm season this year. Is a very easy set up and reliable inverter. I recommend for every body and if you could buy both inverter do it you wouldn't regret.

Ordered online & arrived 3 days later. Packed very nice. Added oil & then fresh fuel. Started on the first pull. Ran 2 separate fans off the generator & it worked perfect. The generator is light & easy to carry around. Economy mode is very quite. Very happy with the purchase.

I have three other champion generators and love them all! I need a lighter inverter generator for my van and sailboat that was powerful and light enough to use between the two , and this model was perfect, break-in period went good and looking forward to the reliability and easy starting that my other THREE CHAMPIONS have given me over the years and. Now in a lighter easier to carry version!!!!!! Thank you !

Awesome generator that packs a punch for quick camping trips one thing I wished they would improve is having a fuel gauge on the unit .

This generator did everything I needed it to do. Was very easy to set up straight out of the box. Only wish I had bought the dual fuel model instead, but works great & very quiet!

Will be using my new 2500 for winter camping. My buds all have Champion generators and they have been working excellent. After a few years of heading out with a long extension cord and boosting power off friends I finally purchased my own. These things start pretty good in cold weather and run all night on full tank.

We are very satisfied with the product. It is very quiet and cheap. I would recommend it blindfolded.

This 2500 watt generator is very nicely built yet light weight, it starts on the first or second pull and it's really quiet. I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a light weight quiet generator.

After purchasing two smaller battery power stations and a 12v fridge/freezer for emergency power outages I needed a way reliable way to charge them during an extended grid outage. Living in the Pacific Northwest solar is not a reliable option. My Champion 2500w portable dual fuel inverter/generator is the perfect solution. I can use the two AC sine wave outlets to charge the power stations in under 3 hours. I plan to only power my Champion on propane but like the gasoline option. Following the operations manual I fill my unit with the included break-in oil and ran it for 5 hours, drained and replaced with 5-30 full synthetic oil. My Champion and a full 20lb propane tank are now ready for service as needed. Thanks Champion!

Our community was struck by a major hurricane in September leaving us without power for 50+ hours. Since we have retired and downsized, we needed a small but mighty generator - our new Champion fits the bill. Easy to start, runs quieter than most other units, not too big and carries like a heavy suitcase.

I use it at home when we are out of power, i can run many appliances at the same time, i also use it for the houseboat, the cottage and for yard work!!! It is so silent, you can use it anywhere without bothering anyone!

The generator was purchased for commercial use to run grinders, small compressors, etc. on jobsites. I unboxed it, read the literature provided, added the recommended 16.9oz of 10w30 oil with the provided funnel, added 87 octane gasoline, and with the first pull it was running. No puffs of smoke, no hesitation, just running perfectly. Let it run for about 15 minutes and plugged in my most powerful leaf blower, pulled the trigger and the unit throttled up immediately as it should with no hesitation. It's very quiet and very light even with the full load of fuel. I am very impressed with the 2500 and expect to get a long life out of it. I have a larger Champion generator that is 5 years old now, and it too always starts on the first pull. What more can you ask. Hassle free. I have no negative comments to say about this generator. Champion makes great products and stands behind their equipment. Buy one, you won't regret it.

I researched generators for hours reading reviews and watching videos on YouTube trying to decide between this one and the 4500W #200978. This one serves the purpose of everything I'll ever need to run in case of a power outage, run small appliances when I'm at the campground, and also anything necessary when out tailgating on Saturday with the boys. The major plus is that it's so lightweight and portable. I love how quiet it is on Eco mode. I can stand directly over the machine if I wanted to, and have a normal conversation with someone else without being disturbed by the sound of the generator. I would say it's close to the same noise level of a small window air conditioner, easy to forget it's running if you're not close to it. Make sure you do the break in process and change the oil afterwards. I'm planning on only using propane to avoid the maintenance on the carburetor, unless necessary. The generator starts easily after it's been primed and runs smooth. I love how customer service is domestic, I can talk to someone who I can understand and understands me. Overall, I'd buy it again in a heartbeat, no question.

Bought for camping Great equipment

Purchased 2 of these units (running parallel) for our RV Trailer to use while boondocking for 3600W service. Units start every time and is quieter than I expected. Very pleased.

Opened up, easy instructions to follow, light weight and quiet. Looking forward to using it this summer!

Works very well and it is a great deal quieter than my Generac. Will eventually get another to parallel, so I can run my air conditioner. Champion makes a great generator for the price. Would definitely buy it again. Didn't want to get the 4500 watt because of the weight. Easier to handle two than handle the one hundred pound one.
