I had built a steel box about six inches deep that is securely bolted onto the rear bumper/frame of my travel trailer. A Champion generator in this box has ridden for 8-10k miles w/o any structural problems. Four bolts/washers run through the steel mesh bottom of the box,1" rubber mat, and through 4 stiff springs and finally the generator frame. The generator frame floats on top of the springs with two lock nuts on each bolt. With remote it is so easy to start/stop from the TT. Best part the engine comes up to speed before generator powers up. On remote stop the generator disengages before engine stops. There are no spikes or brown outs to damage electronics. In total I have 4 Champion remote generators and they all work perfectly. One thing I don't like is the newer one's don't have a fuel tank gauge. I had to buy this new generator in the middle of our trip because tank rust got in carburetor of the Champion with over 300 hours. Oil is changed every 50 hours. FOLLOW DIRECTIONS keep tank full so condensation doesn't cause rust in the tank and leave you w/o power. Yes, after cleaning tank, valve filter, and carburetor it's back in perfect running order. I would give Champion generators a 10 out of 10 PS: Don't forget a good chain around frame legs and lock so it doesn't get stolen.

This generator runs my 19' RV trailer with AC unit no problems. Solid product so far.

Went camping and pulled out of box, put in oil and gas and first pull started right up. Very easy to use. Powered are camper when needed. Easy to move around. It was alot quieter then others we we're with. Easy features, pull choke knob, turn on gas switch and pull cord. This definitely met my expectations and we were camping at 6,000 feet.

This generator was much quieter then previous powermate generator I had. Easy assembly out of box. Easy to do oil changes after the 5 hour break in period and adding oil with supplied funnel. Remote and electric start is nice options so you don't have to pull on cord. My camper cord plugs right in without any adapters now.

Worked perfect was able to run 13000 BTU air conditioner on trailer. Also had several lights and refrigerator running.. 2nd test was I plugged it into my all electric Class A motorhome I had to make a dummy plug for the motor home to recognize it worked perfect was able to charge batteries run coffee maker whites and TV with no problems generator runs really quiet it is just about as loud as a Honda 2000 fuel usage was pretty good we're happy with that generator is a little heavy but with two people that's no problem to move around very happy with product

This is a great generator. This is actually a 2nd generator I picked up because the first "portable" generator I got weighs over 300lb with 5 gallons gas. I am building a house way out in the woods and this is my go too for my power needs. Effortlessly runs a saw, air compressor and LED work light. I also use it for further out projects that need power. It is under utilized for the wattage but its total wattage output vs its portability combined with how easy to start Champion engines tends to be made this an obvious choice for me. Better to be over powered than under. I keep it at the build site covered in a Champion generator cover and a tarp and has worked flawlessly given the 15 feet to rain we have received in the last 2 years in NE Texas and the near average 80% humidity. It has an hour meter that also tells volts and amps so keep up with the maintenance intervals and I anticipate this will be a great generator for years to come.

Excellent product; Quiet, smooth running and more than I expected.... I would highly recommend and I would buy another in the future without hesitation...........

I have owned Inverter generators from Honda, Yamaha, and several off brands, and this is the best so far. Just as quiet as the Yamaha and maybe slightly better than the Honda (IMO). Got this for my hunting trailer, but ended up using it after Hurricane Michael for 5 straight days. By far the best bang for the buck, starts better than all others, is the lightest in weight, panel has the best layout, I like that it has no key to get misplaced (why do the others have a key anyway), the dual fuel option will be a nice backup if I ever run out of gas (I always have propane sitting around), not sure what the battery switch is for but being lighted does alert you that the battery is potentially being drained when the generator is not running. As far as negatives, it's hard to come up with any, but if I had to I would say the gas tank could be bigger, and there is no gas gauge (although the others are marginally useful at best. I solved the tank size problem by adding an auxiliary system that add 6 gallons of extra capacity. Even if cost was not a consideration, this would be my pick over even the Honda and Yamaha. We'll see how it holds up in the long term.

Little loud than supposed to be, oil and gas up. Tested it for 3hrs with portable A/C 14k btu. Work like a charm, 1gallon gas lasted a long time. Still have a gas after 3hrs of heavy load. Didnt change the rpm with heavy loaded. Building a sound box for this generator.
