I bought this item for use on my 6 wheel Argo. I use it when getting stuck in the mud at various places I go riding. One such place this item was put to the test was Busco beach in Goldsboro, NC. It was very easy to set up and operate. I'm now going to buy another one for my boat. You can't beat the wireless remote. So easy. Thanks again Champion for another great product.

I bought this winch for my husband for his birthday. He put this winch on his 4 wheeler and it worked perfectly. I would buy this product once again if I had to.

Installed in my RZR XP 4 1000, fits perfectly and comes with everything for both wired and wireless operation. A vehicle specific mounting plate is not included.

Installed this winch on 2009 Polaris Ranger 700 Crew UTV. Using the winch to pull out small pine trees and brush that grew up around a field. Installation was as explained in the instructions. Wireless option is great. The winch works very well. The only problem was that there was no guidance on which ignition wire to connect the red wires from the switch and wireless receiver. It would helpful to provide this information provided the intended machine is provided when ordered (or maybe just include a sheet of recommended connection points for common makes & models).

I installed this winch onto a 2019 Honda Talon 1000R. I purchased it over the others because of champion's name and reputation. And oh yeah the wireless remote too, can't forget about that.

Bought this for my 2015 Arctic Cat 550xt SXS, and it looks and works like factory. The kit comes with all necessary hardware, and the wiring harnesses are good quality, and nicely sleeved. The kit is designed for both wireless and wired control, and includes ALL of the components for both. It is available for less than $175.00 shipped, which make this a great value, as well as Champion quality. Just buy one, and thank me later.

Rugged design, adaptable that allowed us to put on back of tractor as tree skidder winch. Just getting in the woods with it, but runs strong so far. Would recommend due to strength and value proposition.

I have this mounted on a Honda Foreman 400. I use this winch for pulling my atv up hills in the woods when I am hauling firewood with a set of double trailers. Works great for what I need it for plus the bonus of having a wireless remote.

Bought this 4500 winch to replace a failed winch to lift my snow plow. We get a load of snow up here in the frozen tundra. I read good reviews and the price and quality was better than everything else I saw out there.

I Love this winch so much I bought 2 for our ATV's live the wireless remote, makes it much easier and safer especially when you get stuck and alone. Perfect!

I installed this on my RZR800 (side-by-side). Was easy to install (color code makes it easy - especially for those that don't understand how the electrical works! It would be nice if Champion offered a different rocker switch for flush or dash mount - one that is simply a toggle switch that mounts by drilling a hole vs. cutting 1" x 2" rectangular hole to accommodate the rocker switch that is standard. Might be super useful as well if you offered an option of mounting an external rocker switch that plugs into a socket so a person doesn't have to be in or within arms length of the switch mounted to the unit. Leads from winch (blue and yellow) barely reach the contactor. Maybe add 2" in length.

About as simple as it gets hooking it up. Everything is spelled out clearly. Works great!

I brought this to load a full weight 2017 mustang GT into my enclosed trailer. The remote feature is nice since there is not enough room to open the car door once it is in the trailer. Probably could have got by with a smaller one but this one is never in a strain and it gets the job done quickly.

I recommend this winch with remote control. This is an article that I could not do without. I use it with a 25HP tractor, it is very strong. Very good value for money, parts still available unlike some brands.

This product was fun to install but it did take some time like any other part! Overall, I would recommend this brand to a friend!!!

Bought to go on my 2020 Polaris Ranger. Set up nicely and remote worked flawlessly. My second Champion product and never disappointed.

After having problems with a few other winches I'm glad I went with this one for my Polaris Ranger!

I was concerned that a 4500 might not fit on my '20 Kodiak 700, since everyone seems to favor 2500-3500 lb winches on these. After polling around at the specs on the Champion site, I didn't see a problem with the height, which was my biggest concern. I didn't use the supplied mount and chose the KFI instead, which puts the contactor right behind the winch, so I swapped the shorter battery wires for the winch and the winch wires for the battery. I mounted the rocker switch to the left brake lever mount and tucked the wireless receiver into the upper headlamp housing. Overall, a clean, relatively pain free install.

Use it for trail riding mainly but also for working. Very handy.

I purchased this to put on my 2003 Polaris Sportsman 700 twin. I took a little "creative grinding" to get it to fit, but I got it done. So far it works great just playing with it. I can't wait to us it plowing snow or playing in the mud!

I bought this winch as an upgrade from another brand that I previously had. I spent more time fixing my previous winch than actually using it so finally decided to spend a little extra and go with this one as I've always been happy with Champion products and specifically their generators. It cost slightly more but I can see there is a significant difference in quality and design. It was easy to install since all the wires and the solenoid connectors are color coded. Also it was a perfect fit for a standard 4 bolt ATV plate. I've used it a few times already and its worked flawlessly without an issue.

Love my new Champion winch! It has saved my bacon several times when ice fishing and I run into snow drifts and/or slush on the ice. Installation was straight forward and the cables were plenty long. I ended up buying a separate dash switch so it has the factory look. I simply cut the wires off the handlebar switch and used trial and error to figure out what went where on my dash switch. The wireless remote also works very well, better that other reviewers said it would.

Installed on my 2019 RZR 4 turbo. Install was quick and simple. Spliced the wires from the hands controllers to a rocker switch. Now control from in the cab or with the remote control. Very happy with it!

It comes with everything needed, all the wiring was the right length. Installd on my sxs yamaha viking vi mainly for plowing snow but it has enough power to my machine out of a sticky mud hole if needed
