Bought this 4500 winch to replace a failed winch to lift my snow plow. We get a load of snow up here in the frozen tundra. I read good reviews and the price and quality was better than everything else I saw out there.

I Love this winch so much I bought 2 for our ATV's live the wireless remote, makes it much easier and safer especially when you get stuck and alone. Perfect!

About as simple as it gets hooking it up. Everything is spelled out clearly. Works great!

I brought this to load a full weight 2017 mustang GT into my enclosed trailer. The remote feature is nice since there is not enough room to open the car door once it is in the trailer. Probably could have got by with a smaller one but this one is never in a strain and it gets the job done quickly.

I recommend this winch with remote control. This is an article that I could not do without. I use it with a 25HP tractor, it is very strong. Very good value for money, parts still available unlike some brands.

This product was fun to install but it did take some time like any other part! Overall, I would recommend this brand to a friend!!!

Bought to go on my 2020 Polaris Ranger. Set up nicely and remote worked flawlessly. My second Champion product and never disappointed.

After having problems with a few other winches I'm glad I went with this one for my Polaris Ranger!

The bolt that holds the wire cable to the spool jettisoned out on the very first use of this product. It was only 100 lbs of pressure and the winch failed in a most spectacular way. Unreal. The thing is rated for 4500 lbs of pressure, yet only 100 lbs caused failure. Has this product been recalled?

I was concerned that a 4500 might not fit on my '20 Kodiak 700, since everyone seems to favor 2500-3500 lb winches on these. After polling around at the specs on the Champion site, I didn't see a problem with the height, which was my biggest concern. I didn't use the supplied mount and chose the KFI instead, which puts the contactor right behind the winch, so I swapped the shorter battery wires for the winch and the winch wires for the battery. I mounted the rocker switch to the left brake lever mount and tucked the wireless receiver into the upper headlamp housing. Overall, a clean, relatively pain free install.

Use it for trail riding mainly but also for working. Very handy.

I purchased this to put on my 2003 Polaris Sportsman 700 twin. I took a little "creative grinding" to get it to fit, but I got it done. So far it works great just playing with it. I can't wait to us it plowing snow or playing in the mud!

I bought this winch as an upgrade from another brand that I previously had. I spent more time fixing my previous winch than actually using it so finally decided to spend a little extra and go with this one as I've always been happy with Champion products and specifically their generators. It cost slightly more but I can see there is a significant difference in quality and design. It was easy to install since all the wires and the solenoid connectors are color coded. Also it was a perfect fit for a standard 4 bolt ATV plate. I've used it a few times already and its worked flawlessly without an issue.

Love my new Champion winch! It has saved my bacon several times when ice fishing and I run into snow drifts and/or slush on the ice. Installation was straight forward and the cables were plenty long. I ended up buying a separate dash switch so it has the factory look. I simply cut the wires off the handlebar switch and used trial and error to figure out what went where on my dash switch. The wireless remote also works very well, better that other reviewers said it would.

Installed on my 2019 RZR 4 turbo. Install was quick and simple. Spliced the wires from the hands controllers to a rocker switch. Now control from in the cab or with the remote control. Very happy with it!

It comes with everything needed, all the wiring was the right length. Installd on my sxs yamaha viking vi mainly for plowing snow but it has enough power to my machine out of a sticky mud hole if needed

Everything went as described in the owners manual. Remote works well and have the toggle switch installed to. Priced very well.

This is my second Champion winch, I liked the first one so much I installed another on a 2019 Polaris Ranger 570 2 seater. I love how easy they are to install with great instructions and they perform great. My first one is on a 2014 Polaris RZR 800 LE and I couldn't be happier.

Seems like a very solid built winch. Motor runs smooth and definitely has more pulling power than the winch that came on my sxs. Very satisfied with this purchase. Installation was very quick.

I have this on my Polaris 900 it has saved me and many others. I recommend this product.

I bought this winch to install in my enclosed race car trailer to winch the car in and out. The car only weighs 1800lbs, but the slope of the ramp door adds to the load on the winch. The wireless remote allows me to load and unload the car on my own while steering it in and keeping it centered. The winch works flawlessly and I couldn't be happier with my choice!

Had to pull my Kubota Side Kick out of an arroyo. The remote control was way better than the "leash" remote on my previous winches.

1. Caution when using the handheld remote control unit. Once you press the IN or OUT button, even if just for a very short period of time, the winch stays activated for approximately 1 second. When using the hard wired rocker switch the time delay is much less (I would guess the rocker switch is directly controlling power to the contactor). I wanted a winch so I could pull items onto my trailer while guiding the items up the ramp. I will have to watch for 'pinch points'. 2. I am pleased with the quality for the price.

Used for scissor lift trailer to assist in loading.

Installing this winch was easy but you do need a winch mount kit that does not come with this package

The installation was smooth going, you will have to get a winch mount that's not included with the winch kit but other than that the winch works great. The wireless remote is a great feature! Overall 10/10

I bought this winch to install on my 18' dovetail car hauler. The cars I put on the car hauler are only around 3,400 lbs, so I figured this 4,500 lb winch would be okay. Installation was okay. I just had to buy some additional hardware to mount it the was I wanted. I also just bought a batter box a little bit bigger than the 24F size battery that I used, so I was able to stuff the solenoid and other wires down into the battery box. For the wiring that stated it needed to be tapped into a switched 12 volt source, I just added a quick connect wire tap to the positive battery terminal since I'm not installing this on a ATV/UTV. (the type of wire taps that you can connect and disconnect easily as many times as needed....not the style wire taps that come with this winch)

Just what I needed. I used it to drag a 3500lb etching press on a pallet from a flatbed car toe to a truck. It worked perfectly. The wiring instruction are vague but Champion customer service was very responsive. I will use it on my next 4xSUV.

I am very happy with my purchase, easy to put together . I definitely would recommend this Winch.
