I will admit there are a few brands of tools I am partial to, and CHANNELLOCK is one of them. All of the CHANNELLOCK tools I have owned over the years have held up very well, and I see no reason why these pliers will be any different.
Many (probably most) hand tools these days are made in China. "Fiercely made in Meadville, PA" is clearly on the packaging for these tools. Some of the quality features include laser heat-treated cutting edges for longer life, and precision-machined knife and anvil-style cutting edges for a superior cut. The blue "comfort grip" rubber handles extend completely to the ends of the handles, which I like. (On many tools today, the grips stop short of the end of the handle.)
In terms of usability, these pliers are a little over 7" long, and cut well for their size. Depending on what you are doing, you might consider smaller/shorter diagonal pliers if you are cutting small wire or need to be in small spaces. If you are cutting heavy wire, you may want to consider 8" or larger pliers, or pliers with some kind of pivot or other mechanical advantage that gives you more power than just handle length. But I find 7" to be a good intermediate size of diagonal pliers.
I expect I will get many years of good use out of these pliers, and would recommend them to anyone looking for quality diagonal cutting pliers.
Pros: Durable, Long-Lasting
