It was great to see all set up at store, so i purchased it but then seen manufacture defect just before big party leaked smoke all over

Works great! Good quality for it's price.

Awesome as a smoker. Handled 6 racks of ribs easily. I was also able to do an 18 pounds brisket with plenty of room.

Good smoker. Would've been great if it came with firebox grill grate. Contact customer service awaiting for response. Had to make a few modifications, was to be expected.

Seasoned this bad boy with some good ol' Pam and Pecan wood chunks. Added some gaskets to seal off the cooking chamber and firebox. Made a baffle from sheet metal and extended the smoke stack inside with dryer vent tubing so that it's at grate height. Cooked 3 spareribs, 2 beef chucks, sausages, beans, and BRISKET!! Couldn't be happier!

I just used mine for the first time today and I love how the meat turned out. I am in love.

Wanted to get something that was good enough for the backyard and easy for my family to use, AND I wanted it to be portable so I could use it during some BBQ competitions this year. This is the unit I've been looking for. Sturdy and reliable as far as I can tell right now. Temperature maintained 225 when I wanted it to and was easy to control the airflow. First night after we seasoned it, we cooked ribs and this char griller competition pro did not disappoint.

We bought this grill ONE month ago and have used it 3 times and the paint started chipping off and rusting, and we used grill cover!!!! Chargriller took no responsibility for their product.

Overall a great product. Just needs better grates and a better handle on the firebox damper. Very easy to assemble and use. Could use as ash tray but that's not a big issue.

I will add a couple of pics just s you can see. I have mine now 3 yrs and it looks like its 40... Firebox is completely rust, lower hinge to cleanout door is about to break out, grates are all completely rust, I have to use grates from is grill. I am sorely disappointed after my last smoker lasted about 12 yrs....I hope I just got a lemon and they are not all like this one.....

It was easy to assemble. The cooking surface is large and it retains heat well.

Husband lived this when he got it for Valentine's Day....he seasoned it with bacon..then porkloin went on. Was fantastic!!!! The company that delivered it,however, would not reccomend...brought this to the neighbors and put on their patio. Glad we know and like our neighbors!!! But the smoker is amazing

Smoked Fish & shrimp with red salsa for 1 hr in Detroit, MI...!! What do you think the taste?? It was gourmet and so delicious. Don't miss this griller/smoker!! It is very strong and heavy. They really designed it to last forever. Please buy it and enjoy the unique taste. Good Luck

Well engineered, designed and fabricated. Assembly was a breeze with all threaded holes aligned perfectly. Burn-in curing was easy with flow and heat consistent throughout the unit. Worth the investment.

Bought this smoker about a week ago. I've used it at least 8 times so far. Yeah...that's once a day and twice on one of those days. It's awesome. I love that it just has a door on the main barrel to open instead of opening half the barrel itself. Doesn't take long to get going. I think the only downside to it is that it leaks smoke out a couple of joints, but that's easily fixable with some high temp sealing. I would definitely recommend this grill. Best bang for your buck.

I use this grill to smoke brisket every Saturday! Took me a couple times to get it just right with a new grill, but now it comes out perfect. I also use this two times a week during the week to cook hamburgers and steak. Always comes out better than any grill I ever had! No issues for me!

Love this smoker! I've done a pork shoulder, pork ribs and a whole chicken so far and they all came out super! My only complaint is that after 4 + hours of smoking there is so much ash in the bottom of the fire box that air flow becomes an issue. Thankfully my daughter, who's a blacksmith, made a ash rake for me. Now I can smoke for hours and as the ash builds up scrape it out into a bucket allowing me to keep proper air flow. It's a shame Char-Griller doesn't offer something like this. I've uploaded a photo of the "rake."

Love this smoker/grill, a good price and quality product

Easy to assemble, but would like the ability to have grates at different levels. Best thing we've done is BBQ pumpkin pie!

Picked it up this morning at home depot, as usual the guys were terrific in loading it. Got home around 7:30 seasoned it for 2 hours, then loaded it up. Everything came out great. I love this pit

So far this has been a good grill/smoker combination. It's light medium-duty construction should stand up to normal use for years to come. For grilling in does great, for smoking it's pretty good but it would be worth investing a few bucks adding some gasket material to hold the Heat and smoke in a bit better. The fire door may need more material to close the gap at the bottom of the door. It stands pretty sturdy and the doors are of a thicker material than the rest of the grill. For the price it's a good buy and I think it would be worth investing a few more bucks sealing it to make it perform like one that cost a lot more.

The grill itself is exactly what we expected however we were not expecting the issue where it leaks Ash onto the ground through some unsealed portions of the legs, especially when it rains.

Bought this for my guys birthday gift... He's already smoked the best ribs we've ever had! He can't wait to try pulled pork, chicken and finally a roast pig!!! It is high quality construction and we will have many years and many meals with it!

First time smoking a brisket in this smoker, man I was surprised how the smoke ring looked when I sliced into the meat. 12 hours to smoke and holds smoke very well. Definitely exceeded my expectations. You won't regret buying this smoker.

Great smoker. Cooks well and at a good price. Paint peels away once heated and wasnt able to screw in the support bar into the fire chamber due to fitment issue.
