The pipe I bought was fine. I’m giving a poor review to my shopping experience in general. I wanted to buy 1.5 inch pipes and connectors, but for some bizarre reason home depot doesn’t sell the 1.5 inch connectors I needed (three way and four way). So I was forced to buy everything in 1 inch. Of course, the employee who tried to help was lovely and helpful, just as confused as I was about the situation.

I purchased these for a non-plumbing project and was very happy with the performance of the pieces. They fit snugly and securely, but didn't need to be forced into place.

I have no problems with the product. It appears to be of excellent quality. My problem was with the delivery in that my order was short changed by 3 90 degree socket elbows. Yes this oversight was reported in a previous review. Lesson learned: be sure to count your items before leaving the store.

Rarely if ever used in actual plumbing these side outlet tees are good for special projects where nothing else will really work and instances where building code need not be followed.
