Good storage tank at a good price. I will say, it would have been nice to have more support during delivered. One guy and me, wrestling this huge tank around.

It’s sturdy, easy to move and set-up. And the plumbing hardware was way to find at HD. It filled over 100g in the first light storm of about .5”! I plan to get more to use during the droughty 6mo of the dry season.

Wish in had a Claire strip where it shows the gallon so you know exactly how many gallons are in the tank Other than that very sturdy and heavy duty tank from the money would recommend

It was a lot all what I. Expected they didnt send caps for the drain outlets and it was not fun to. Try and look for them it took also 3 days of solid searching to find ones that actually fit.

Seems like a good sturdy tank. The only reason I gave it 4 starts and not 5 stars is these tanks (especially the smaller ones) should have molded in tie down spots to strap it down. I could see this tank easily blowing over when the water level gets low.

The tank was fine and performs as expected, but the specs page did not ID the pipe sizes for fittings. It took a little guesswork to fit proper piping.

Still needs hook up by my plumber, but quality was as expected.

I purchased the TC6481IW 1,000 gallon water storage tank to collect rainwater for my home irrigation system. The tank quality is excellent. My only advice is to pay attention to the size measurements of the tank because the height can range from 85” to 88” depending on the manufacturer’s mold location and where the tank ships from. The drawings are correct on the ChemTainer website for model # TC6481IW. The tank I ordered shipped from California to my location in Massachusetts. Specifications: California FOB: 88 1/4" tall x 64 1/2" wide Florida FOB: 85 3/4" tall x 63 5/8" wide Illinois and Pennsylvania FOB: 85 3/4" tall x 64 1/2" wide Tennessee FOB: 85 7/8" tall x 64 3/5" wide There is one inlet at the top and one outlet at the bottom of the tank. All molds use the same inlet and outlet sizes: Inlet: 1-1/2 Female Threaded NPT Bulkhead Fitting Outlet: 2" Female Threaded NPT Bulkhead Fitting I threaded a 2” PVC Spigot x Male adapter onto the outlet fitting and then glued a 2” PVC ball valve onto the Spigot.

Seems like solid construction. Leaked at first it needs a thicker gasket to seal contour of bottom outlet. Used sealant to fix leak

Great tank. I just wish it would come with a valve and cap for the two openings on the side.

The container itself would work well...unfortunately it didn’t come with the plugs or other to fill the holes. It wasn’t clear these came open without covering.

Nice tank. Bottom 1-1/2" outlet leaked little, just needed a couple turns with a wrench.

HELP, I ordered a 1,000 gal tank from Home Depot via Chem-Tainer Ind. it was delivered with no problems. However, it came with no bottom plug. I went to my nearest Home Depot and explained the problem, and was told to contact Chem-Tainer direct. I called the company talked to sales rep. they sent me a site to order my needed WATER CONTROL VALVE. the problem is the site is not helpful can not find a proper match for my tank number # TC64811W-BLK, so as of today I have a useless 1,000 tank with no idea how to purchase a control valve. Please, if your not going to help me resolve this issue don't bother me with further surveys or questions.

Delivered on time and as describedHolds 70 Gal if you use a 1/2" Inner top Water Inlet Automatic Float Valve.

Was as described - 1 inch inlet and 1 1/4 outlet.

It was shipped with a thin layer of stretch wrap on it. Most of it was tore off. Other than that, I'm pleased.
