This Bamboo Shade is a classic window treatment with a durable design and woven wood patterns. This blind is Designed as a light filtering window covering, this shade gently filters light to create a warm and welcoming at-home resort environment. This product can be used for Inside or Outside Mount and is true to size. Even though it says it should not be placed in damp environments and does not offer full privacy, I use this shade on my screened in porch to beat the setting sun rays early in the evening. In the description it does say to please note: this product is light filtering and a semi-privacy sun shade not intended for full privacy or blackout, intended for dry environments, avoid placing them outdoor, the matchstick slats have natural textures, which can cause color variances, which I don't mind. You also receive an installation guide, installation hardware, and a 12 month warranty.

Easy to install. Blocks strong Sun yet let's in light. Great looking.

The light filter natural shade is great and being installed in my outdoor screened in enclosure over the door to create a good neighbor viewing blockage on the south side of the house while letting dappled light in for for plants and orchids. If I decide to unblock that door for passage or a storm comes, I can roll it up and out of the way. The top of the natural shade is wood and will make for a sturdy installation.

This shade looks very nice right out of the box. It comes with instructions and is easy to install. I like it so well I will be adding more of these shades in other rooms of the house. It is a very rich shade of brown and it actually looks very much like real bamboo or some other natural material, which is very important to achieving a good design look.

Right out of the package it seemed pretty straight forward. For a non-handy person, this is not really too bad. It comes with directions which are 2 steps. Like I said, it’s pretty simple. The hardest part was determining which side was the front and which was the back. I drilled a few pilot holes for the brackets and attached to blind. Just make sure your brackets are at least an inch in from the sides. That way they are hidden. I was able to install my blind without a helper. Another set of hands would have been nice but not essential. The look is pretty cool. Natural and rustic. It smells a bit but I am sure that will dissipate. I have found that the more I work the blind up and down, the easier it moves. I guess it just needs a little breaking in. This is a great way to dress up a window. It’s nice to not see those dangling cords and I don’t have to worry about any little ones or pets getting bound up in them.

The only problem I found installing it on a door is the valance had to be cut a little to slide the blind over the bolts. I don't believe the blind is designed for doors. Over all a great product

This is a perfect blind if you are looking for a bamboo blind. It is very easy to install and comes with all required hardware. The blind front covers the hardware connection. There is no string, so the blind just pushes up and pulls down. But it is much safer for kids. It is light weight and let’s in lots of natural light. It is sized properly and fits inside the window easily

The blinds are also very easy to clean and easy to install, much better than the common louver blinds.

The Chicology Premium True-to-Size Brown Acorn Cordless Light Filtering Natural Woven Blind is the ideal way to enhance the look of your windows as you filter the light shining through them. So much better than the old louver blinds because they actually allow light to come in but at the same time provide good privacy. The blinds are also much easier to clean.

The shade itself is pretty and a nice texture. However, the top wooden piece is bowed so it droops a bit in the center.

I like how this shade looks, much better than my curtain. The bamboo shade is 32 inches wide and 64 in length so it covers the entire window and I really like that it is cordless. The installation was easy for me and it can be installed inside the window frame as well as outside. It comes with not just the brackets but also the anchors to install on drywall. Once the bamboo shade is installed, it is easy to open and close. To close the shade simply pull it down, to open just raise it to the desired height and done. I like the natural color of the shade; it lets some light in while keeping privacy too. I did see one of the bamboo sticks not glued one hundred percent so I hope it does not come off later on. I’ve had it for about a week and it is working well while it looks nice. I like that it is light filtering and if I want everything dark I’ll just put a roller shade or curtain.

This is a brown bamboo shade that measures 64 inches long by 32 inches wide. It can be pulled down to any desired length. It has its own attached valance to coverage headrail and the mounting accessories. It is cordless on the front and works with a spring assist . The pleats are formed with metal rings and cords. You simply pull or push on the shade to open and close it. It comes with installation instructions and mounting hardware.

I am really loving this bamboo shade. First the color is perfect, not too dark nor too light and the quality is top notch. Also the cordless operation is smooth as butter, just pull from the center of the shades down to your desired location and let go. The shades will stay put and to retract…well it sometimes take a bit of effort but still works well, you have to gently and slowly push up from the center for the best retraction results, too fast and the shades may clump and will not retract, too slow and nothing is really happening. OVERALL, if you want bamboo interior shades than these are the ones to get. All the hardware and instructions are included. NOTE: these Shades DO NOT Completely block out the sunlight, they filter the light and reduce the amount of sunlight coming in. If you are concerned about privacy than you will need to put some sort of decorative window film on the window or look for another type of shades that are made for more privacy.

This is a Nice Solution ... But Takes a Beating in The Arizona Sun. Built for a nice look and a pretty good shade effect, these bamboo slats will simply not last long our here in the desert Southwest. Perhaps, in the Midwest or East, this could be a longer term installation and it sure is easy to design and install. Just be ready to redo it every two or three years if you are out here in Phoenix.

These blinds look great in my kitchen window. They are made of real natural woven bamboo. They add texture and have a beautiful slight color variation. They do not totally block all the light, just filter the sunlight. They are easy to open and close by just pulling the bottom of shade down and pushing up when you want to raise them. They have an innovative technology that offers a cordless mechanism. You can mount them inside or outside the window frame.They come with mounting instructions and hardware needed.

We recently had a cellular blind fail (stopped moving up and down) and were looking to replace it. We thought this woven fabric blind would be a nice option to bring a little warmth to our window coverings and a slightly different texture. While it is certainly a wonderful texture and a great natural wood color - For us, this blind didn't quite match up to the cellular blinds for the following reasons: 1. It didn't actually block light - i know its not blackout and we weren't expecting that, but the cellular blinds allow diffuse light in while blocking views - you can see from the photos that this is not the case for this style of blind. 2. Depth - we have normal depth sills and jambs on our window and this was proud of the window casing (it stuck out into the room). 3. It was bulkier, it has a large valance on it to cover the mechanism which allows it to move up and down. Not as big of an issue as items 1 and 2, but still made it visually bulky. The operation of the blinds is a little less smooth than what we had been used to, but they move up and down and i did feel more confident that if anything broke we had a chance at fixing it - unlike the blinds we replaced. For the right location these might be great, but they did not deliver what we were looking for.

Globally what one would call an ok blind for the price. It's not anything fancy but it's likely good enough for many applications. The blind itself is easy to install and the directions are clear enough (see included photo). The weaving on the blind itself is not as tight as more expensive blinds of similar style and when back lit at night you can readily see through it (see photo).

The Chicology True-to-size cordless light filtering shade is indeed a brown fox color. It is indeed a true to size shade. It is woven bamboo. However, it was much more difficult to install than the instructions showed. There is no provision made for the weight on one 46 inches wide and it sags very badly in the center. The shade might be okay if you used it outside on a patio, but I used it inside and I'm not pleased with how it looks at all. It is a cordless roman shade and the folds on the bamboo are clumsy. Even though it is made of nice materials, once installed, it looks cheap.

This windiw shade measures the size that is indicated. It fits my window perfectly from side to side, but i wish i could easily trim the excess off the bottom. This shade provides privacy and it still lets some light filter through too. The slats are sewn in nice and even, and the bamboo gives the room a more natural feeling, which is what i wanted. These are cute affordable shades!

This is a good bamboo shade for the money it has a pulley system in the back that I added a picture of that helps the shade retract up if you lift from the bottom and allows the shade to come down if you pull it down from the top. The way that this shade is attached to the window is a little bit crude it has butterfly knots that go through the slots in the wood top of the shade so if you did need to trim this down you would need to re-cut those grooves for the hardware to fasten to the shed.

Wow! I was hesitant to purchase 9 sets of shades looking at them only on my computer. When I want something specific, I usually go and comparison shop at the store. I wasn't sure about the color, but surprisingly, the color I chose (Fox) was true to the color on my computer. I live in a converted barn and the walls, ceiling, and floors are all knotty pine. I had the old faux wood plastic blinds with the tassels that break or fall apart as they age and was ready for a change. I skipped using a pencil to mark where I wanted to drill the holes and just drilled using the hanger as my template. I got 3 sets of shades up in just under an hour and they look magnificent.

These blinds were exactly what I was looking for. The installation was super easy and they look amazing. Price was great. Additionally these are a high-quality product I may buy more for other rooms in my house. Great value and price.
