After much research on electric fireplaces it became clear that the Classic Flame Spectra Fire 3D is far superior to any others on the market similarly priced. It's features give this unit an amazingly real fire look and the infared heat source is powerful and quiet! Installation was literally a breeze and the trim kit to us was a huge plus to it's appearance. Quality and Value are definitely a 10+ !!!

Just what I expected went in and works great

The fire place itself is very nice and easy to install, takes about 20 minutes. But no where that I could find, that it tells you that you need the trim ring and mounting box kit, which is $200 extra. Also, the framing install opening size does not come with the box but with the trim ring.The CUSTOMER SERVICE is all but nonexistent, made two calls with questions, got service number both times and was told I would get a call back with in 72 hours. Still waiting!!! Customer Service is terrible!!

Big disappointment. The flame is about as good as it can be for an electric fireplace. But the logs look very plastic even from far away. Right out of the box my wife noticed it and said it has to go back. My heart sunk when I saw the logs. I had very high hopes for this. So I returned it. Turning it on, you can quickly see that the logs become even more fake with the “burning, ember“ effect. It’s just too dramatic. Looks like a light show. I asked my daughter to glance at it and she is 12 years old. Her first, immediate reaction was “the logs are plastic, the orange color on the two large front logs is way too bright, (even on the lowest brightness setting) the bottom log with the embers doesn’t look, right, too bright,(even on the lowest brightness setting) and all over it looks like an LED light show. If you stare at it for 15 to 30 minutes it does seduce you into looking more and more real, so I can see where it can be a good fit for someone’s needs who is not looking for a absolute realistic fireplace and is not having anyone over to look at it. it does create a great ambience. So if you’re not worried about family, friends, or entertaining, and having folks walk in and know immediately it’s a fake fireplace, then it would work for you. Because it is very beautiful, but artistically they just didn’t do a very good job on some very basic and fixable features. I don’t know why they didn’t just put real logs in the thing. With the logs they could definitely get a better realistic look and tone down the dramatic ember effect and be very subtle with it. That would offset 75 to 80% of the issues with this fireplace looking fake within an instant of looking at it. They did a good job of creating flame effect in the middle, and in front of the logs, which is extremely difficult to find in this price range of fireplace. In fact, I’ve only seen maybe one other brand that comes close. It’s a shame that it goes to waste with the fake looking logs. To get a very realistic flame and or logs, one needs spend at least two to $6000 if you’re trying to Replicate a wood-burning fireplace , so if it reality is what you’re looking for, probably better to go to a linear fireplace that is designed to mimic a gas fireplace. They are supposed to be dramatic, and no one expects them to be real, and it’s easier to get a realistic look because many gas fireplaces don’t really look that realistic and definitely not like a traditional wood-burning fireplace.

The fireplace is beautiful. The different options for the fire are great. Love the heat it puts out. Also love that you can adjust the heat. Love everything about it.

Great fireplace, I had a classic flame but it didn't fit properly the classic flame was preferred and much nicer but this fit perfectly

We installed it right after it arrived and turned it on just to make sure it works. We love the look and the features but haven't needed it yet for heating purposes so we'll find out when the weather turns cold again.

Exactly what I was wanting. Very realistic looking flames. Very easy to install. Would defiantly recommend this product

We love our fireplace insert. The only thing is that there was a little dent on the bottom that it looked like happened during shipping. It could have been avoided with a full piece of styrofoam along the bottom instead of just pieces protecting the corners.

I purchased this with a trim frame. After getting it installed my trim arrived a few days later and didn't fit. Apparently home depot doesn't sell trim kit for this fireplace. I had to purchase from a company in Oregon. Very disappointing that I was lead to believe otherwise.

The flame is beautiful and options are great. The heat is good, but not as much as I expected. Overall very satisfied.

This unit of warmth fit my fireplace pening perfectly & is much better in so many way than the gas logs. I made an excellent choice for my setting area with the sight of a flame of my choice & a temp of my choice. Good buy for my purpose.

I thought I researched this unit, I wasn't looking for something that was just a decor item, I was looking for something that could supplement heat for our Living Room, and wanted something safer than our space Heater, this unit said it would heat up to 1000 square feet well I'm not even 7 foot from it on my couch, it does not heat up nothing! I don't understand the good reviews it has, unless they bought it for a decor piece. I can't afford to spend that much on decor, and just a note to anyone wanting to use this for a extra heat It Doesn't have any Blower speeds Just One!

It warms up the room quickly and is beautiful to look at. Glad we invested in changing our old wood fireplace with this electric insert.

The flames are so realistic, there are so many settings to change it to , being able to set a temperature control is very nice , as it kicks on and off but your flames are still there, you can also have flames without heat. Very nice looking fireplace insert. Best I found for not a lot of money. Heats a huge area. I would buy another one after this one quits.

Puts out good heat and looks ok in the fire place but all componants are a little cheap. The remote is very light and feels like if it drops a couple times it will break. The control panel cover on the insert is peeling away had to glue it back. Minor but where the heat actually comes out is slightly offcentered not a major issue but for a symetrical look would prefer it centered. For $500 i just wanted a product that was a little more quality of build
