Just bought this Coast headlamp fl75 thinking it was a 700 lumens as it showed on the front cover, just to find out here on the Home Depot app that it’s not a 700 linen but a 435 lumens! I hope Coast fixes this before others get fooled like I did!

It works great. Love it!

This was a replacement for another headlamp damaged by leaking batteries. Compared to the old unit, this one is slightly more compact but equally bright, includes a useful "zoom" feature on the main lamp, and also has a pair of red LEDs should you have a "low light" application. On the downside, the old headlamp had a more comfortable elastic head harness which provided better support for the lamp with a band passing over one's head as well as around it. The old lamp also had a bit of foam padding on the inside curve of the unit which contacts your forehead, improving comfort during extended wear.

Simple and effective! Battery lasts decent amount of time and has a quick recharge also the band is stylish yet comfortable. Best of all it's affordable. I definitely recommend and approve of this product.

I have buying this head lamps for I little while, and batteries, and when I saw this head lamp at Home Depot that it has a rechargeable battery , immediately I stop and get it now all I have to do make sure I charge the battery for every day routine, also can be use with regular AAA batteries, and is so bright also has a zooming for more or less area to light up, different angles , it has a belt to adjust to any size head

The COAST FL60R 450 LUMEN RECHARGEABLE LED HEADLAMP, BLACK, ACCESSORIES INCLUDED, is a great addition to the tool box. It comes with 3 AAA batteries as well as a rechargeable battery. (You will need to charge up the rechargeable battery before use.) It is comfortable to use and the headband is adjustable. The illumination is powerful! There are 3 levels of light and the light angles down for those hard to see places. This is a great headlamp. The only drawback is that the instructions are so tiny I had to use a magnifier to read them!

Coast FL60R 450 Lumen Rechargeable LED Headlamp, Accessories Included, Black. The Coast FL60R headlamp has three different brightness settings, 450 lms, 200 lms, and 50 lms. The dual power source is an excellent feature. This allows you to run on either three AAA batteries or the supplied power pack that can be charged via AC, DC, or USB power source. The battery pack has overcharge protection, so you do not need the worry about destroying the power pack by leaving it plugged in. This is a big plus. The light also allows for the rechargeable pack to be recharged either inside or outside the LED headlamp light with the provided mini USB cable. The headlamp pivots at the base of the light to allows you to angle the light down at what you are looking at. The strap has a reflective pattern on it to help you standout when it is dark. The strap is adjustable and does not need to be too tight to keep the light on your forehead. Notice the charging port to charge the batteries in headset is on the underside of the headlamp to prevent water intrusions also has a good fitting rubber plug.

A great durable headlamp. It has a fixed wide angle beam and best for general illumination. Similar spread as a fixed beam flashlight. It’s a 40 watt light. Has 3 brightness settings. On high this will easily illuminate a 10 x 10 room or a 8 person cabin style tent. Even the low setting is decent. Runtime: high 2 hours 15 minutes; low 10 hours. The Lamp is on a hinge which can be angled more downward to avoid blinding folks walking towards you or to better read a map or book. Or wear it upside down to angle upward to illuminate a room for example. There is a micro USB charger built into the headlamp so you don't have to pop out the battery. Or you can pop out the battery to charge via a portable battery charger and pop in 3 AAA batteries for extra duration on an extended trip. There is a charging indicator that turns green when fully charged. It takes about an hour to charge. Includes a USB micro charging cable. I do wish it came with two rechargeable batteries instead of one. On the bright side the alkaline AAA batteries get almost double the run time. See chart.

I am really happy with this headlamp. I t is perfect for those times when you need a flashlight but don't have a free hand. For me it has been handy when working underneath a sink with my upper body crammed into a cabinet, also when installing a light fixture in a dark hallway. The head band is adjustable and very comfortable to wear. The light itself has 3 brightness settings. The best feature is the battery: it can work using 3 AAA batteries OR you can use a rechargeable battery pack (included). The battery pack charges via a USB cable. Very convenient. On the high brightness the lamp last over 2 hours (very bright) and much much longer on the lower settings. Compact so it takes up very little space when stored.

Come out of the dark and light it up, this little headlamp is mighty bright. It comes with an adjustable strap that should fit any size head comfortably. The inside to the elastic strap is soft and holds its place very well. It comes with a rechargeable lithium battery pack and AC adapter, also it has 3 AA alkaline batteries included. The battery compartment is easy to open and closes tight. The lamp is adjustable to shine on your project or straight ahead for area survey/inspection. I am very impressed with how bright this beam is, you can't look at it without seeing spots. It has 3 levels of use but they are all bright enough for the average need. The power button is located right on the top in the center and very easy to find when wearing it.

The Coast FL60R LED Headlamp is an excellent value and headlamp. Right out of the box you get everything you need, 3 alkaline batteries, 1 rechargeable battery pack and a USB charging cable. The battery pack can be charged in or outside of the headlamp. I put the supplied alkaline batteries in the headlamp and charged the battery pack outside of the of the headlamp. For this first charge cycle of the battery pack it only took about 15 minutes. The battery pack has a built red light when starting to charge the battery pack. When charging is complete it turns green. The strap on the headlamp is adjustable and fits well and has a reflective safety strip. The lamp can be adjusted straight ahead or pointed slightly down at about 30 deg. The beam puts out an ultra-wide circular beam that can be adjusted in brightness from high, medium and low. The headlamp is rated with an IPX4 weatherproof rating. When I looked up this rating it means the headlamp can be used in heavy rain, but you cannot submerge it into water. The FL60 Headlamp is backed by Coasts lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. It’s great little headlamp for camping, car emergencies or working under sinks.

This is a great LED headlamp. It comes with instructions, a rechargeable battery, a USB-to-mini-USB calble, 3 AAA batteries, and the headlamp. It is simple to use. The button is on top of the lamp unit and can be pressed three times to go through its settings: high, medium and low. The rechargeable battery can be used or you can use 3 AAA batteries. The USB cable can be plugged into the headlamp, which is covered with a waterproof cover; or you can plug the USB cable directly into the battery if it is outside the headlamp. The illumination is very bright and much brighter than a 250 lumen Energizer headlamp. The headlamp can be directed downward at various angles. The quality of the materials and build is excellent. There were no problems while using the headlamp. The headband has reflective diamond shapes all around it. It is a neoprene like material. My expectations have been exceeded.

I own several Coast products and all have exceeded expectations and this is no exception. In fact this one has some wow factors. The light is very bright, and wide enough for most applications. The option to use disposable batteries (it comes with 3) or the Li-Polymer rechargeable battery pack is fantastic. And the battery pack can be charged either in the unit or outside the unit, meaning you can use this with batteries while the battery pack recharges. The unit comes with a USB charging cable, which is common to many other devices, but does not include a 120v plug in transformer, but so what - who doesn't have one of those lying around these days. The strap is reflective which is a plus for me because I wear it walking my dog at night. The batteries are easy to change, or swap with the power pack, no need to remove the headband, and the lamp angle is adjustable. Just about every option you could think of.

Notwithstanding the fact that Coast FL60R includes a removable and replaceable rechargeable battery which is ideal, but it also may be powered with standard batteries. This is the most comfortable headlamp I have ever owned, and I have several. It is not just for night time excursions or getting around when the power is out, but it is also ideal for artistic and/or other close-up work. The light angle is adjustable even while wearing it. The light is wide-beam and very bright. It has a total of 3 settings for brightness. The FL60R is rated IPX4 Weatherproof so it would probably be okay to wear it out in the rain.

At first I thought this headlamp was a bit pricey (in spite of being on sale), but wow! For its brightness and power source, I'm amazed (and a touch blind). Focusing the lamp nearly doubles its brightness at the center. For many people who have had to fumble with work in dark places due to poor lighting on site, there is no longer an excuse for the work area being too dim. The controls might be difficult to use with gloves on, but it looks durable enough to be a professional wrestler, what with being "accidentally" dropped, grabbed and smacked around. With a lifetime warranty to the original purchaser, I hope both of us will be around for a long time.

Bought this primarily for hiking since the headlamp I had prior decided to not work anymore. I am thoroughly pleased with this headlamp, went on a 3 day hike with it and it was great! Used the low setting while hanging around camp and the bright for when I needed to filter water from the river. Not too heavy and or bulky. Strap is comfy. AAA battery’s last a great amount of time. The ability to flood or spot worked great for larger area light in the pitch black woods. Coast killed it with this lamp.

This headlamp is lightweight. You barely notice that you are wearing it. It fits on a hardhat held on with optional clips or you can just wear it on your head. Adjustable straps. Comfortable to wear. The light on full is very bright. I don't personally have use for the dimmer settings or the red LED setting. This is very useful for outdoor work in the fall and winter when the evenings are dark. Very handy to have. I always keep it in my truck in case I need a portable light.

We get a few summer and winter power outages each year from the storms and the last one lasted for 16 hours so I wanted this Coast Lumen Dual Color LED Headlamp for these type of emergencies. The headlamp has plenty of light for anything from just working at night to walking in the dark. The "regular" white light has a good combination of wide and focused beam. It has four sequences: High-Medium-Low-Off. The switches operate just as they should. This headlamp will also be used for night time snow removal. We have a double wide driveway at the bottom of the driveway so the “High” level will give a good wide spread. Received very quickly and was well packaged.

Coast FL65 headlamp is a really nice headlamp. it’s really bright on the high setting. If your going to use it on the high setting be prepared to have some extra battery’s on you because it will burn them up pretty quick. It uses up the battery’s in about 2 1/2 hours on the high setting. I use it for work and normally using a headlamp in small areas so I use the low setting 90% of the time so the battery’s last a long time compared to my other headlamps. It’s very comfortable I wear it for about 8 hours a day and can’t really tell I’m wearing it.

This headlamp is terrific. The white light option has three levels of brightness, and truly illuminates any space. The red light is interesting: the packaging contains no instructions at all, so I don’t yet know how I will use the red light. That’s the only negative - I had to play around to figure out how and where to turn on the lamp and ended up blinding myself for several minutes because it was pointed at my eyes. Very bright! No instructions on how to change the batteries or even how to open the battery case. There are two little clips inside the package - also no idea what they are. But all that is very minor; the headlamp is great, the strap is VERY comfortable, you could wear it over a hard hat (or a winter hat) and the band has reflective elements. Another very minor observation: the strap is black with light polka-dots and red trim. Maybe a tiny bit feminine? But it’s a great tool for home projects, camping, exercising in the dark, even for children. And I love that the batteries were included. Good product!

COAST did an amazing job with this headlamp. The amount of detail they put into the light is the best bang for your buck. This worked perfectly for me last weekend when I was working late in my shed and I had to cut some PVC peg board. It lit up the working area perfectly while handling a hand powered saw. It gave off plenty of day light! It has 3 day light settings and 1 red light setting. The head band has reflective diamond shapes all around it for added safety. Its fully adjustable as well. The main light module even folds down with a choice of 3 settings. I really enjoy the fact that its hands free and I have multiple light settings. I plan on making this a part of my standard personal equipment when the snow starts falling and I have to do snow removal at all hours of the night. PERFECT to keep the job going non stop!

Coast Dual Color Wide Angle Headlamp. This is a very bright wide angle head lamp (400 lumens on high and 55 lumens on low) with 3 levels.. It is water proof and max run time of 19 hours. Best of all it runs on 3 AAA batteries (included) , so you don’t have to go to some exotic battery store to get your light going. Very easy to change from white to red (dual color), with press on one side of base or the other. Bonus for you hard hatters out there, it comes with clips to secure light straps to the rim of a hard hat.

I got the Coast FL65 400 Lumen Dual Color LED Headlamp in black because I knew this I would have a use for a lot of the time. for quite a while I have used my cell phone as a flash light rather then go find the actual flashlight that is here some place. This works better then both, as you can see with it without using your hands to hold a light in place, I know as I have had to work in the dark many times with out proper light so the jobs were more a feel your way then see your way to get it done. This light has a adjustable band, but was adjusted to fit my head right out of the box, it uses 3 AA battery's included, the light can be faced downwards as well as ahead of you. has 2 switches under the rubber bumpers. on and off for the red lights off / high / medium / low / off - for the main white light. This product is awesome.

I like this headlamp a lot. It uses three AA Alkaline batteries and gives off a very bright light in the high position. It has three levels of white light and also 2 bright red LEDs for those times that you don't want to lose your night vision, but need to see in total darkness. The switches are easily accessible while it is on your head. The headband is wide, soft and very comfortable. You can position the beam in one of three positions depending on what you are doing. Sure beats trying to perform a job and holding a flashlight. The feature I like best is the variable light intensities. With today's LEDs, often the light is just too bright. With this lamp, you can adjust it to your needs.

I have been buying coast headlamps for a number of years now and I own quite a few. I know that they are durable and reliable. The only reason I don’t give this five stars is because it has a fixed flood beam and is somewhat limited in it’s uses. It is very bright, and will work great in many situations. Held 4 feet from a wall the beam has about a 6 foot diameter. It is a very clean light circle. However, most of the coast headlamps that I own have an adjustable beam that comes in very handy. Honestly, the next time I Buy one of these I will get the adjustable beam.

What can I say about this headlamp besides it is fantastic. I do a lot of work on motorcycles and cars in some very tight spaces that you just don’t have to room for extra lighting to see what you are doing. With this headlamp you are able to get the extra lighting without having a space problem. The three settings for the white light gives you the amount of light that you want without blinding yourself. I love the idea of the red lights for night vision. This light will work with a hardhat, but can just as easily be used without a hat, just adjust the strap to the size you need.

It is amazing how bright this light is. This is one of my favorite gadgets. I always try to have one on hand for a last minute gift. Who can't use one. You always have light and your hands are free. I was once playing a game of mahjong and there was a blackout. We each had a headlamp and the game continued. This light is in red and whit and is wide angled

I’m excited to have the new Coast FL65 headlamp. I’ve wanted a headlamp for a while now and this one appears to meet my needs. The headband is soft and quite comfortable. The lamp unit rests comfortably on my forehead allowing me to use it for extended times without the feeling that you’ve strapped a brick to your head. The switches, once you get used to them are rugged and easy to use. The FL65 has a red mode, making it perfect for use in the camping tent and for stargazing where a white light would ruin the view. This will be perfect for late evening trail walks.

This head lamp is a cinch to use. The headband adjust using two buckles to make sure you get the exact fit you need. The headlamp features 2 modes, Red LED mode and Floodlight mode. There are two buttons on the tops of the light housing, one button operates the red LEDs, the other button operates the middle white LED. There is a red LED on each side of the 'normal' white LED. One button simply turns the red LEDs off an on. I like this for hunting when I am sneaking into my deer stand before sunrise and after dark. It provides enough light to see by, but not nearly as much as the floodlight would. The other button operates the center white LED, click it once for high, twice for Low, and 3rd time for OFF. It gives off a wide beam of light to allow you to illuminate your work area in front of you, not good for long range spotlight applications. The light also includes clips that will attach to a hard hat, the headband will then attach to the clips, pretty sweet idea. I don't wear or need a hard hat but I am sure it is handy for those that do.
