Got 2 1/2" 4x4 pieces of cherry. Arrived on time, well packaged though 1 corner on both pieces was slightly smushed,like it had been dropped on that corner. Wasn't a problem for me. Good side was pretty nice, good grain and color. Back side was good, but one half of the back side of each sheet was sapwood, so it was white not reddish pink like the rest. Grain was good and clear though. Ok if its the inside of a panel or you use the white altogether. Core is, well, about what you get these days. Good enough for a panel which is my use. Wouldn't trust a screw in it. Good buy and looks nice in my project. Will use again.

Highly recommended- Great plywood; perfectly flat, straight edges, cut squarely. The core is three thick plies of poplar. The face veneers are beautiful, but very thin. The two faces are cut differently, so you have a choice of straight grain or a bit more variation and perhaps a few pinhole knots. Both are quite attractive. Mine was well packed, shipped promptly, and arrived in perfect condition. I have ordered this twice and the quality was very consistent.

Very nice cherry plywood veneers, good for furniture grade material, clear vertical grain, minimal imperfections if any.

The B side had one dent/scratch in it but other than that it finished nice.

Very clean unblemished surface. Hard to find half inch thickness and was perfect for cradle bottom. Took finish very well and looked natural next to solid cherry frame.

Absolutely perfect for cabinet backs with an extremely light sanding. Finishes well and matches cherry lumber very well. With the best side outward, one can make nice looking cherry boxes, cases.

Ordered six, two edges were dinged. All were a 1/16 shy of 1/2 inch.

I have purchased this product before and it was excellent. Unfortunately, this go round the cherry veneer was a bit more brittle and the pieces came with the outer edges dinged and chips along the cut edges.

I ended up buying 4 pieces of this plywood to make a piece of furniture. For the quality, it's not a bad price. But if I could have just bought a full 4 x 8 sheet I could have had much more useable material and less waste. Yes, I realize that a 4 x 8 sheet would be cumbersome to ship, but it would be a much better value for woodworkers.

They were exactly as expected

Wood is beautiful, carves well (using it for printmaking), and the company is great. Had an issue with an order that was fixed within 24hrs of finding it, no extra cost. Will absolutely use again.

Sheets of cherry plywood arrived very quickly and were in excellent condition.

Cherry ply was in excel condition. Perfect flat w/veneer in excel condition also. Would order again if needed.

This was the second time I used Columbia Forest Products for custom cut shelf I used for a cabinet project. The they were perfect both times.
