I build furniture as a hobby. I needed two pieces of 1/4" cherry ply for the back of a case piece, and did not want to drive an hour-and-a-half to buy them, so I ordered these. I am happy that I did. They arrived well packed and 100% intact. One side is "A" grade cherry, the other "B" grade birch. I could not have asked for anything better, and would not hesitate to order again.

Great custom cut and the company who did the work for HD made sure that it was the right size and it shipped quickly. It was to fix a cabinet that was damaged by movers and it came out like new.Thanks

The 1/4" 2' X 4' Cherry Plywood is a great product. The grain could not be prettier or more uniform, and there is a real natural look to the Cherry. Yes, the plywood is one sided, but the back side of the piece I received was not that bad. The back side of the plywood I received consisted of three uniformly joined straight veneer pieces. I'd have no problem using this sheet of plywood for a cabinet door panel. I did examine the edges of the plywood very carefully and could find no signs of splintering. Nice. Packaging was thorough and protected the plywood well during shipment. The box was made from heavier cardboard and the plywood was additionally protected by two panel sized cardboard liners. I am impressed with this plywood and would have no problem recommending purchase to a friend.

One side of this plywood is a nice cherry veneer that is reasonably thick. The veneer strips are bookmatched and not very wide, so the pattern has a lot of unnatural repetition. Only one side is usable, the other side is low-grade veneer that chips and splinters and is impossible to do anything with, but with 1/4" plywood, that's not really an issue, you won't use the back anyway.

Bought a 1/4 inch, 2' x 4' panel. Delivered to my home in good condition. Cherry finish was great but only on one side (veneer rather thin). Other side looks like beech but still nice.

The cherry veneers on this 1/4" plywood are really pretty, on both sides. One side has straighter, tighter grain than the other (at least on the piece sent to me). The box arrived with the plywood sandwiched in between two sheets of corrugated cardboard, inside a large, rigid box, so the corners and edges were totally intact. The ply between the veneers is not the firmest material, but this shouldn't matter if you're just making through cuts in the plywood. This plywood in 1/4" thickness is ideal for something like a drawer bottom or the flat panel of a false drawer front. It is definitely not structural or intended for complex joinery projects.

The plywood seemed of high quality with good color and no blemishes. But I needed three sheets and the shipping is $6 per sheet no matter how many you order. So I ordered one one day, one the next day, and one the third day. They could've easily put three sheets in the box that one came in.

Panel was pretty much as described. Face side looked good, back side was not a good display side. Panel was warped when received. If you need a flat panel over the whole surface, go to a retail outlet and pick one out. I didn't need a whole 4x8 sheet, and I was able to flatten the panel out with screws during installation, so it worked for me.

I looked everywhere local for this sheet of plywood. I never considered it online, but was told at the store that it was available online. Quick, very reasonable shipping, excellent quality, really special packaging

Bought two cherry cabinets that I wanted to make into guitar cabinets. Ordered the panels online. Little pricey for delivery but saved me a trip to the store. Price for pieces was very reasonable. Needed to cover over the inside which were drilled for shelves. The back had carboard backing. Cut the cherry panels to size, stained them to match and polyed a final finish. Looks great. Nice pieces and project turned out well.

I know it is a sign of the times but the veneer is very thin. It makes sanding glue-ups problematic, as you can easily sand through the veneer if a lot of care is not taken. Otherwise, the plywood is tight and presented very few voids. The surfaces look good and can be used to make very nice looking projects. The shipping costs seem to be a little high but it seems to be a pretty good value otherwise.

I ordered the two sided 1/2" cherry ply. Arrived quickly. The packaging only included one heavy cardboard protector, luckily the other side was undamaged in shipment. Veener quality is very good one side and good the other. I'm happy with the quality as only one side will be primarily exposed for my application. It does measure a little thicker than stated in the item description. Mine measured 0.475", not 0.453". The only negative I have is that the 2'X4' panel was cupped lengthwise by about 1/2".

Plywood was very nice. I was very UPSET ABOUT HAVING TO PAY $6.00 PER SHEET FOR SHIPPING., You offer free shipping on orders of $45.00. But not on this plywood. I"ll try to find some where else to buy it.

Panel showed up substantially warped. I measured 1.25" of cupping across the width of the panel and 4" of warping over the length of the panel. Also it had substantial tear out on the veneer side from where it was cut down. Finally, the veneer is poor quality.

I was very well pleased with the materials I ordered and with the promptness of delivery. I have no doubt I'll be back for more. The bookcase/bedside table I made with went over very well with my wife!
