This product was all good except I had a heck of a time trying to match it with any other Walnut species including actual lumber, veneer, edge banding, etc. I tried everything to work around the tone of this Walnut plywood. The tone was always just a bit off. By itself, it's beautiful, but if you plan on trying to pair it with any other lumber or wood veneers/products, even Walnut, it may not be the way to go. I tried several combinations of stains, dyes, and all kinds of techniques to create a good match, and it just didn't work. I had to abandon their role in the project and go a different direction, but will be using the panels for a different project where the plywood can stand alone.
I would recommend that you order a test piece of this product, stain and finish it the way you intend to, and make sure it fits in with your plan before committing to the entire amount needed. That's the mistake I made. Luckily I can salvage the stock, but still be warned of my experience.
