Really nice piece of oak plywood, one corner was a little dinged but i was able to work around it,but for the price it should have been perfect.

These panels were decent. There were a few voids (small) in the ply, and it was square. The veneer was decent, though as others have said, it is very thin, so if staining be very careful when sanding. My project was making a kitchen cart for my son and wife , and it came out well. My issue, was the shipping. To be fair, it is almost impossible to ship these large pieces without some nicks. It came in a cardboard container, and had cardboard sheet to protect the face. Unfortunately for me, there was no added protection for the edges. Of the four 4x4 sheets I received, I had various damage on multiple corners on all the sheets. Frustrating, but I could work around. Overall, decent quality. Had a few voids, a small section where it delaminated, and a small amount of warping on one sheet. But the cuts were square which really helps. FYI: Thickness is not a full 3/4" but 23/32" not an issue for me.

alright wood, but deffinitely not white oak!

Quality has plummeted. A couple years ago this product was ok, but now its not square, full of voids and damaged areas in the veneers. I need to find a new supplier.

3/4 in x 2 ft. x 2 ft. White Oak Plywood is the right size for replacing a missing shelf in the bathroom cabinet when we purchased the home in June. The facing need very little sanding to make it smooth for a finishing with MinWax Pecan Stain PolyShade finish. After the first coat only needed lightly remove some rough areas with steel wool; then wipe with a tack cloth. Then apply 2nd coat; was a decent match with the outside of the cabinet finish.

Arrived in very good condition. Immediately put to use as a worktop/desktop in our basement. The smooth, nicely grained top looks good.

This product came in great condition in a timely manner, better than if picked it up my shelf. Great Job Home Depot !!!

I bought this 24"x48" panel for the top surface of a desk. The panel was nice and flat, but two of the four corners arrived damaged from shipping. Both surfaces were veneered, though one surface was definitely nicer, with the tight, straight grain I associate with oak. The B side was still good but wasn't quite as nice. Unfortunately, the board was sawed from the wrong side so both crosscut ends were chipped on the A side. The B side wasn't bad and it would have been easier to use that side for the desktop surface, but the A side was so much prettier. Due to the widespread chipping and damaged corners, I ultimately decided to recut the panel and redesign my project to be a slightly narrower desk. If you're going to cut the panel anyway, this is a 5-star product. The oak grain (on one side, at least) is utterly beautiful. But if, like me, you want to use the full 48" length of the panel, it's something less than 5 stars.

I'm always a little leery of getting any kind of wood/wood product sight unseen. I was hopeful but expected something a little less than ideal. I was pleasantly surprised at what I got. The panel I got is clear, no flaws or blemishes that I can see. Edges were all fine, no chipping or anything like that. No bows or cups, flat as can be and with straight edges. Came shipped in rather heavy cardboard, sandwiched between two sheets of very stiff and sturdy sheets of cardboard. Haven't come across any voids or other imperfections in the inner plies. Nice clean product and worth the money, not inexpensive but not at all cheaply done either.

I ordered this plywood sheet to do a project in my home. I received it in good condition, but it did have a small ding that looks like the shipper dropped it, but doesn't ruin the wood. It has 5 layers of wood with two layers of veneer. Nice smooth finish that comes pre-sanded. It takes stain evenly for a richer finish. Used wood screws the plywood grabs and holds great. The edges they cut were nice and smooth which is better than the last piece of plywood I bought at HD. Nice piece of plywood.

The 2x4 piece of white oak plywood was very nice. It was a little costly, but when you need something what are you going to do.Of course stores know this.The wood was nicely finished, but had a slight bow in it. Not enough to cause a problem with my project. But thats what happens when you can't pick out your wood in the store.They don't sell white oak anything. Actually I bought several hundreds of dollars of white oak moldings and had them shipped from Ohio because there is no availability here in South Florida.
