I purchased a box of this wood for my laser cutter. My 1st box cut great loved the way it cut. Ordered 3 more boxes now it won't cut for nothing. I will be returning my left over unused wood, unfortunately I cannot return the 3 sheets that would not cut, was a waste of money. I tried pieces from 3 different boxes of my shipment and nothing would work correctly. Don't know if I will order again.

I use this with my laser. It cuts beautifully. Will keep it coming in.

I bought this double-sided maple plywood to use with my laser engraver. With each cut, 1/2 of it doesn't go all the way through the board and when taken apart, you can see the glue pockets. I tested this on more than one board, adjusting my laser until I decided to try the same file with walnut and cherry plywood. TI am not having this issue with any of the 1/4" Cherry or Hickory I bought or the 1/8" walnut. he wood is also warped and the veneer is coming off some boards.

Absolutely love working with this wood. Makes every project turn out great!

One entire box of wood was so warped I cant even do anything with it. So very disappointing. I’ve been ordering this wood for a long time and the last couple of orders have not been great but this box was unbelievably bad

Supposed to be maple on both sides. One side is definitely NOT maple - looks like poplar (kinda green and different grain).

some of the wood sheets were warped. that makes it difficult to get good cuts and engraving with my laser.

Normally the Quailty is good but last order was unacceptable need better Quailty control

I love working with this but this time I had a many warped pieces and 2 that were separated.

I ordered 6 boxes of these project panels. So far out of 3 boxes, at least half of them are so bowed that they are not usable. I need these panels to be flat.

I typically love Columbia Forest's Products but will probably never order their maple panels again. The top layer flakes off after it's engraved/scored in my laser and I've never had this issue with their other panels.

This wood (when it’s straight) lasers beautifully. But the issue is it’s almost never straight. My first box was less than okay, not worth nearly $50 but I needed it so I made what I could work. My second box is complete trash. To the point where all ten boards are unusable. When laying them on a perfectly flat surface I have a corner that’s literally 3” higher than the others. No amount of clamps will allow these to lay flat enough to laser. These will be returned and I will not be reordering.

Sense November most of the wood I have ordered has been warped to the point of being unusable. I’m not sure why I keep buying this wood. I realize this is common for this time of the year but last years wood from the same time period was usable even with the worse pieces having some uses. I have to go through the boxes and I’m LUCKY to get 2 pieces that are usable. There must be an issue with the climate control at your warehouse that should be addressed. FYI, this issue is now all over FB and word is spreading and other suppliers are taking action.

The way it’s packed leaves too much of a void in the box, and both times I’ve ordered the boards have shown up loose in the box. First time they were warped as a result, but some were salvageable. Second time they are all complete garbage, warped to the point where one corner is 2” off my table while the opposing corner is flat. This stuff has a great reputation in the laser community, but I haven’t been impressed with either purchase.

My daughter has been buying this wood for about 2 years now and hadn’t had any major problems BUT the last 2 orders hard it’s if warped pieces about 1/3 of the wood warped and was unusable

I buy this product a lot but sorry but lately this product has been horrible is not flat and is not good for my laser honeycomb, and have some black spots which are empty pockets that when I print the design I print broke since the wood is rotten or have some empty hollows

I have used Columbia Forest PureBond Maple product both in 1/4" and 5/32" since Nov. 2020. It has since increased the price nearly 30% and the quality is very poor. I just ordered two boxes of the 5/32" and the thickness measured by my calipher reads between .133 to .142 not .156. Both boxes are warped and unfortunately, my two layered designs requires it to be flat otherwise it would not adhere flat. I have experienced veneer detached and even rotten edges. Make a better product CF!!

Some pieces were warped almost beyond use

Cuts easily with thick maple servings in my Glowforge Plus. Slight bowing is easily eaken out with pins or magnets.
