Fan is only 30 inches high. Unless you're sitting on the floor, you won't feel the air blowing, except on your legs and feet. The 'high' speed is the only effective speed that blows strong enough. I bought a small square box to sit the fan on (safely) to make it taller, which helped a little.

These fans are quiet and make life coolers with a remote to operate it. It only took a few minutes to set up and use which consisted of putting the base stand on the bottom with screws. I purchase an additional fan after using the first one for a few days!

Hi NORRIS, Sometimes new electronics have a specific odor (similar to a new car smell) which will evaporate over time. We recommend running your fan to help the odor disperse more quickly, or putting it in a well-ventilated enclosed space, like a garage.

I have received my (2) 30’inch 3 speed oscillating black tower fans with remote. They are everything I expected and may end up buying more. Everything was great from the price to the sleek and effective design, delivery was smooth with zero delays or issues and I received them in a reasonable time frame.
