Great little heater for my office job. No matter what time of year, my office is always cold. This little ceramic heater is great for my desk space. Love the small footprint and you'd actually be surprised the heat that comes out of this little guy. The grill will get hot to the touch. Almost a matte black finish, will show some finger prints, etc. Has a red indicator light when it is on. One thing I wish it had was a sensor that turned it off if it fell over. Mine would still work on its side. Says it has a overheat sensor, not sure when that kicks on.

This maybe a 5 star for some people or a three for others, depending on what you are expecting it to do. It is small, so can fit on most desk pretty easy. Sides and back stay cool, but the front grate does get hot. Features include a on/off switch, a small fan, a power indicator light and a over heat auto shut down. What it does not have is any type of thermostat, it is either on or off. It puts off a reasonable amount of heat that should heat up a small area or anything directly in front of it. It is pretty quiet and the heat is not over powering. I am a generally cold person and I work in a very small room, more like a walk-in closet. Area is heated in the winter, but I always need a bit more. So for me, it is a strong 4. As long as you are not expecting it to heat a entire room or expecting as lot of the temperature control it will fit your needs. May also be worth your while to read the “warnings” before you purchase it.

Pros Easy to Install, Easy to Use Cons no temperature control

The personal heater is tiny, only 7" x 4.5" x 2.5". It's lightweight with a plastic case. The instructions warn of a slight odor during initial use. The odor was slight and not objectionable. The instructions warn to not expose pets or birds to it during the initial use. This heater only uses 200 watts, so it should work in any outlet. Since it doesn't put out much heat it needs to be near you to be effective. At a 2' distance the fan noise is 50dB, sort of loud. It's a white noise so would actually help mask otherwise distracting noise in an office environment, but might interfere with phone use or if a colleague wants to have a discussion. I tried this out while working at my computer keyboard with cold hands. I put the heater about 6" to the left of the keyboard. It did a nice job of warming my left hand, but my right hand was still cold, so placement of the heater is a consideration, since it needs to be near to you but positioned so you'll get even heat. There's a power switch on the back and a red power indicator on the front. It only weighs a pound and has a small footprint so it's pretty easy to tip over if it's bumped. It does not have a safety tilt shutoff switch it it's tipped. I was initially concerned about this, but my infrared thermometer held right up to the grill only measured 232 degrees - not nearly hot enough to set something on fire. It could cause a minor burn if it was grabbed by the front or tipped onto bare skin. It does have an "Automatic Overheat Protection System", which is thermal protection that shuts it off if the fan fails or if it tips over on its front or back, blocking the airflow. When turned off it cools enough to be safe to hold in a couple of minutes. It has a 12 month warranty and is made in China.

Pros small, lightweight

This little heater is great; I keep it at my desk while I'm working during these chilly fall mornings. The housing and fan are all made of plastic (the front is metal) so it's pretty lightweight, and the felt pads on the bottom eliminate vibration. I like how quiet it is so I can take phone calls without having to turn it off. It's 200 watts and only has an on/off switch (no speed settings) but it works very well. The housing stays cool to the touch so I can move it around easily, just don't accidentally touch the front.

This is a nice little personal heater that works excellent for my wife when is is doing work related computer spread sheets because her hands were always cold. The heater puts out pretty good heat as you can see from my pictures. I used a infrared gun to show the difference in temperatures. I read the instructions and it does say that the rubber feet may cause damage to some wood surfaces so look out for that issue. The heater does have a smell that takes awhile to go away due to oil that the heater grid was treated with in assembly.

My home is my life investment. I constantly worry about two things: the need to use a ceramic heater and the fear that the heater would somehow overheat despite all my precautions and this mini ceramic heater was perfect. Its powerful enough to warm up an area but not so big that it would frighten me or deter me from using a heater due to fear of the fire factor. I love these because I live in NYC where the weather is harsh and the winters unforgiving. I hope that I can order more of these before everyone finds out about these little gems.

Nice little heater for desk or bedside when the space you are in needs a little comforting heat. It has a 200 Watt ceramic heating element in the front with a small fan that draws air from the back to blow heated air out the front. Actually, it produces slightly more sound than a computer fan - not too bad. The cord is long enough to reach most outlets without an extension cord and the safety warnings (of which there are many) says not to use an extension cord. On the back is an on/off power switch and an indicator light on the front to let you know it is powered on. The outside case stays cool but beware that the front panel gets hot (another safety warning) during use. It says it has safety overheat shutoff protection but I didn't leave it on long enough to test that. The size was a little surprisingly small at 7"H x 4.5"W x 3"D but that does not adversely affect its heating capacity. This product is not made in the USA.

This is a teeny tiny little heater that would be perfect for an office worker with cold feet, it doesn’t get blazing hot which is a good thing. It is lightweight and perfect for under a desk or even on top of a desk to provide a little blast of warm air. I got this for my daughter that works in a bank where she says it’s always freezing, even in the summer!
