Installation instructions were very vague. But anyone with any mechanical ability would be able to install and operate this stove with little problems or issues. I do wish Home Depot stocked the stove pipe for this as well.5 stars because it looks great and produces lots of heat.

I bought one of these stoves last year. It did such a fantastic job that I bought another one this year for my shop. Easy to clean and care for.

Easy install. Blower didn’t work when I first started the unit. Had to take the side cover off and free the blower up manually. Works fine now.

Great product

It really puts out the heat. I love it. We have had it for almost a month, it's more than what l expected. It did take us a little bit to figure out, because it's digital. Are other stove was from 93, so antique. .

Great purchase. The bin is a little tricky to add pellets. But that’s the only thing I am not real pleased with.

Stove works well heats 1100 square foot home downside must be careful not to accidentally hit wrong button or let hopper get to low of pellets WILL SHUT DOWN and will have to wait 30 minutes to relite Also make sure igniter is cleaned out when cleaning out burn pot might not light and will have

Extremely efficient stove. Heats both levels of my home with ease. I had returned a defective stove from HD and decided to try the ComfortBilt and it did not disappoint. The hopper could certainly be bigger but that's something I don't mind dealing with considering how well this stove works.

Works well. Exhaust port off center auger did not feed pellets. Tech support helpfull be advised if you can't fix issues yourself your sunk no techs available. Again now works great. Guess It's a good product just be handy.

Heats up my garage great enjoy working in a warm garage

I bought this stove because the Home Depot listing shows it capable of heating 2,200 SQ FEET but The owners manual clearly states the stove will only heat a 1,200 SQ FOOT space. The stove works nice but burns way more pellets then my previous stove. A 40 LB bag of pellets would last 24 hours in My last stove, I’m lucky for a 40 Lb bag of pellets to last 12 hours with this stove. I think the stove is just too small and has to run NON stop to keep my 2,100 SQ foot home at 68 degrees.

Had this stove for 2 months in my workshop and I haven't been able to keep it running once. Usually doesn't ignite and won't stay going in any mode for longer than 1 hour before dying. Their support has been very nice and helpful but still cant get it working. Will update if I can get it to work..

Stove is a great operator! Even with old pellets, it has run perfectly for more than a month now. Very easy to use and clean. If I have to complain about anything it would be that the hopper is just a little too small. You have to be very empty in order to put in a full bag. But I'd rather have the unit's small size and have to fill more often.

I couldn't be happier! I have had this stove up and running for 3 days. The temps dipped to 4 degrees tonight and with the stove on the second heat level my house stayed at 77 degrees! I never expected to be this comfortable in this weather! The fan is relatively quiet, my TV is only 15 feet away and I am not bothered by the sound level at all. It is easy to fill, easy to clean, looks sharp and the remote control is a great feature!. Definitely would recommend this stove for value, looks and performance.

Stove is very good, much better than the last one, hope this will last as long though.Set up was a bit of a pain as the exhaust pipe wasn’t centered in the back cover, took some effort to get the elbow pipe on.Manual leaves some details out and a quick look at forums solved it. Holds more than 40lbs

I researched for months before deciding on the HP50. It's a solid, sturdy unit, very heavy. This stove could not be any easier to use. The manual is clear and easy to follow. I had a few questions and immediately spoke to live tech support from Comfortbilt. Pushes big heat. A+++++

We love it!

The unit burns a lot of pellets, even on low, more than the other unit we had previously. Also, the burn pot needs to be emptied daily or the unit shuts down. It does not have a good temperature control system; if left on even low, the unit produces too much heat.

Easy install. Works great. 3 options of heat. The 47lb hopper is great for adding pellets mid burn.

So you may notice in the questions section of this website question regarding this unit causing smoke and needing constant cleaning. Well I sent an email in to comfortbilt and literally recieved a phone call from Glenn 30 minutes later! (If you go on you tube you'll see him in a number of helpful pellet stove tutorials). Glen was as kind as could be. He asked me a few questions and quickly identified the issue. I self installed this unit and was venting it up through the roof at approximately 18 feet high. He walked me through a perfect and easy fix with the voltage settings. Glen also gave this first time stove owner a number of tips, recommended a few pellet options (he did at the HD brand was good as well) and even said to call him anytime with questions. I can't say enough about the comfortbilt company and the stove I'm enjoying right now. It heats my entire house of 1,700 sq feet with about a bag per day in frigid New Hampshire and is sleek and modern to boot!
