Gives a solution to a problem, but doesn't fit in as tight of a spot as I expected.
I got this to protect an over the range microwave oven. These have outlets that are in tight spots in a cabinet. So, I needed something small.
Turns out the geometry of the plug on the back is such that is not symmetrical with the outlet cover. It will hang low off the bottom. This caused it not to fit in my cabinet until I turned the outlet orientation around.
Otherwise, it is a great value for 1000 Joule protection in a small package. Perfect for one outlet too.
I'm recommending it knowing how it fits. It is fine if you keep this in mind.
